We have some news to share with you - Julie Mathers (our founder) is back!   Julie has partnered with @healthpostnz, an amazing family-owned B Corp from New Zealand, to acquire Flora & Fauna. For the next little while we’ve had to temporarily close our checkout. Don’t worry, we’ll be back up and running as soon as we can. We have a bit to do to move the business, find a warehouse and do lots of system stuff to give you a much better shopping experience. We know this last year has tested your patience with us so we really want to thank you for being on our journey while we get things back up and running as soon as possible. Hi all, I know it has been a long time between drinks so thought we’d say hello and give you an update on F&F’s relaunch. Firstly, a massive thanks for everyone’s support as we navigate through this. Customers, brands and suppliers have all been amazing in wanting to help us get back on to our feet again so thank you. We’re looking for a new home in Sydney this week and a great big warehouse space - we’d love the spot back at North Rocks but sadly it’s gone. However, we’re looking to lock one in really quickly and i’ll let you know where that is going to be. Once we’ve done that we need to fit it out with shelves and racking and systems and all that stuff. At the same time we are talking to lots of our amazing suppliers and brands to get back up and running. We went along to the Naturally Good trade show in Sydney this week (see piccy) and I caught up with several of our amazing brands including Vanita from Dr Bronner’s/ Grants, Emma from The ANSC, and Jenny, a long time friend, from Hannahpad.They are all super excited about us getting up and running. We have quite a lot of system work to do which I won’t bore you with but we are running at speed behind the scenes so even if you don’t hear from us for a while we’re working hard. I can’t give you a launch date yet but, again, as soon as I know you’ll know. Hi all 👋 I want to say a big hello and huge thank you for your support for F&F (it’s overwhelming in a really amazing way). Thank you also for your kind words for me. I am very happy to be back involved with F&F and your support on here and in our Facebook group is just amazing. It has been a big week for everyone and a tough week too - buying bits of a business out of administration comes with challenges. We have a lot of work to do to rebuild as we are a much smaller business than what we were. We’re going back to basics on a lot of things; we have to find a warehouse, work with our amazing suppliers again and get systems hooked up and lots more. Due to the state of where F&F is at we haven’t been able to take the team on the next stage of the journey. It hasn’t been an easy week for them and it isn’t where any of us envisaged F&F would be. We have had lots of feedback about what you want to see back at F&F and we’d love more feedback too. We are absolutely committed to building you an amazing F&F 2.0! Drop me a note or pop comments below. (My reel was too long so it is cut short as I explained this bit!) I’m going to post updates here as we start rebuilding.
