NEW RELEASE: Dopple, a name born out of various iterations and translations of doubling and duality, is an exploration into the extremes of expression within a single typographic family. Moving from a Regular to a Black weight, the design becomes increasingly graphic in its transition from straight to flared lines, transforming subtle tapering at letter joints in the monolinear Dopple Regular weight into flared curves that threaten to bulge out of their bounding outlines in the Bold and Black weights.

Weave is a high contrast Sans-Serif that explores the movement and relationship between angular and smooth outlines. Traversing both a Serif and Sans-Serif design space, moments of high contrast paired with loose, soft curves, stressed weighting and asymmetrical, arching horizontal cut offs offer hints of a gestural Serif design reinterpreted within the confines of a Sans-Serif.

Partly inspired by old-style Serif typefaces, a more covert origin for Parent was found in an image from Adrian Frutiger’s “Typefaces. The Complete Works”, where outward strokes referred to as “Daggers” had been manually taped to letterforms to retain sharp edges throughout the printing process. In a reinterpretation of this functional characteristic, a specialised ‘Ink’ variant uses a combination of extreme incisions and reverse tapers to create unique, curling forms, simultaneously facilitating the correct rendering of type at the most extreme small point sizes while also producing ornate and purposefully dramatic details at large point sizes.

Initially designed in 2013 for the No Cash Value exhibition held in Amsterdam, Value is a contemporary family of two typefaces: Value Sans and Value Serif, drawn in response to conversations centered around notions of cultural and fiscal exchange and each borrow their geometry from the other. Previously available in upright styles only, the recent extension of Value Serif into italic styles brings the Serif sub-family to a total of three weights and six styles.

NEW RELEASE: Lardent comprises four type families, each featuring a distinct style of Serif. Starting with "Classic", a pared back take on traditional forms, Lardent’s standout feature is the fusion of Slab and Wedge designs to create a unique visual texture that incorporates the density of a Slab Serif with subtle wedge shapes. This culminates in the transitional “West” Serif family which lies between the alternate Slab and Wedge families. All four families, Classic, Slab, Wedge and West, are available in a singular variable file, enabling access to a full scale of intermediary stages between each Serif style.
