Spent the weekend camping as south in Ontario as you can go ✌🏻 I’m a last minute packer. 2021/12/26(Day 560) I had a string of moments in my sleep, dreamed about my trip. I was packing according to the list Sarah made. Then I was told by someone else that I could also take Shitakke with me to Colombia. Sarah didn’t believe that and suggested that I shouldn’t be bothered by the BS at the last minute but keep my mind straight and come home to my “mushy” with a happy face. It was supposed to be a month long trip and I was asking Nick to take care of her while I’m away. But since I live in Astoria(Queens, NY…and I chose my first apartment in NYC in hopes of running into Christopher Walken because it’s his neighborhood!), I decided to ask Yuko at the last minute. But I felt bad because I did the same thing with my former cat Datta and I was totally taking advantage of Yuko hoping that she feeds the cat well and continue my gram account(and I was also asking Nick to keep painting including Shitakke). I was equal of my asshole in my dream but much gratitude to my friends who supported me and joining my dream. Photos were shot a month ago. I forced Shitakke to meet a friend of mine after 18 years(regardless of covid, I’m an exposed hermit who don’t hang out with ppl often unless we’re working on some issues to solve). It was nice to see them and their lovely partner, but Shitakke was just shy and stayed in my backpack. Even though I’ve been using this bag for shorter jaunts the past 6+ months, I’ve been going carry-on only on planes for years and have been looking forward to trying it out on this long trip and it worked wonderfully. This year has been trash to say the least but we made it. Some lost jobs, some lost their homes and some will enter the new year with their loved ones as angels.
