Taking the road less traveled since 2014 was scary. In most Asian households, it is expected to pursue a career in the medical field. This took a toll on my mental health but I challenged that cultural expectation and pursued a career in the creative industry — hence, why I’m a content creator. . Back then, there were not many Asian content creators and I was deemed “silly” and faced some bullying. To be honest, I doubted myself many times but I knew deep down that it was what I wanted to do. Shoutout to Ryan Higa and Michelle Phan for making my Asian heart pitter-patter back then lol 😂 Anyway, I was inspired by them!! . THRIFT & TELL HITS 10k! . . . Thank you so much to all my wonderful followers for sharing T&T for the last year and a half. I started Thrift & Tell on a whim. I woke up with the name in my head and created an account.
