THE ROOP

There was such a strong flashback while visiting the Elbphilharmonie building in Hamburg, where 3 years ago THE ROOP won Germany's alternative Eurovision with the song "On Fire". It was a crazy 2020, with the biggest covid restrictions. 6 million viewers watched the TV show and decided the winner. . At that time, the Philharmonic was without an audience and you could only try to imagine what it would look like. . In 2020, Hamburg became our breakthrough location. The next day, when we went out into the city, we became not only tourists, but also artists. For the first time in our life, THE ROOP was recognized on the streets not only in Lithuania. Local people greeted us, complimented us and took pictures. . This time, THE ROOP's documentary about it was filmed here. We believe that we will return to Hamburg again with a full concert and thank this city. . #theroop #roop #hamburg #germany #elbphilharmonie

Vaidotas: I am currently in Hamburg. I'm having breakfast and I see an elderly couple. The woman looks great: her hair is combed, the earrings are well chosen, the blouse is amazing. . I have told myself not to be afraid of saying compliments to people. Because it costs nothing and brings a lot of joy. That's what I did. I dared. I walked over to the table and said that woman looks amazing and wished a good day. . A smile graced the woman's face and she thanked me profusely. The husband was also smiling and lovingly looking at his wife. And I also started the day with a good feeling. . Three people became happier☀️ . #theroop #hamburg #germany

Reminder: Even if it doesn't seem like a big deal to others, you can still be proud of yourself. . You have so much to be proud of. Don't belittle your achievements. . 📸 Monika Penkutė #theroop #roop #reminder

Malta welcomed us with a hot summer mood, swimming and a great audience at the concert. Although this time the trip was very short, we still managed to fall in love with this place. We will definitely be back to take a closer look. By the way, we did not think that so many Lithuanians would come to our show in Piazza Tritoni, Valletta. . 📸 Migle, Micallef Diego, Europride #theroop #roop #europride2023 #malta #valletta

Malta, it was a blast! 🇲🇹A lot of love, smiling faces and unity! ❤️Thank you @europride2023 for this invite to play in Valletta🖖 . #theroop #roop #malta #europride2023

There is a saying: You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. . I have been going to physiotherapy for 9 months now and I exercise almost every day. With ease, but stable. . What does this have to do with music? Everything! If I don't have health, then nothing will happen. Physical movement not only helps the body, but also the mind. . I am preparing for the World Tour. It's not planned yet, but you need to be ready now. I don't want to get tired after a few concerts. . #theroop #roop

This is a pleasant surprise! Daði Freyr @dadimakesmusic unexpectedly performed “On Fire” at his concert in Vilnius. Sounds really nice! Thanks, Daði! ❤️ . Daði has just released a new album “I Made An Album”, which the Icelander produced and recorded alone, and is now touring the world and performing in concert with two musicians. Go listen to the album and don’t miss the concerts! 🖖 . #theroop #roop #daðifreyr #dadifreyr #eurovision

A random photo dump.

Even though sometimes you can hear how others tell you that you have to live differently, don’t give up - keep going on your own unique path. We send good vibes and hugs to everyone.

It's Robertas’ birthday! Thank you for the ideas in music that take the songs to a new level, thank you for the diplomacy, thank you for the strength in moving forward, thank you for being part of THE ROOP!

Vaidotas: I came to the city of Bergen in Norway for a few days🇳🇴 This is my first time in this country. I felt that I had to get away from everyday life, because the household eats up a lot of time and does not allow me to focus on creativity. . We wrote a lot of songs with the band while we were in Sicily. Later, we improved their instrumentals in Lithuania. . Now is the time for the lyrics to emerge and for some that have already appeared to take their final shape. . The city of Bergen turned out to be a great place to retreat, to feel a different climate. In addition, our new team member Andres is located here, with whom we will cooperate more and more intensively. . Although the weather here is cool and humid, I really like it here. . I believe that new music will not know national borders and will sound freely in various countries. . P.S. It is very nice to meet local Lithuanians here too who say hello🇱🇹 . #theroop #roop #norway #bergen #norge #lithuania #lietuva

Yesterday’s concert in Radviliškis surprised us a lot! It was hard to believe! 🤯But about everything from the beginning. . Ok, as far as we know, Radviliškis is not a big city, it’s just a very cozy small town in Lithuania. 🇱🇹 However, one of our most loyal fans from Italy named Rossella decided to come to the concert at this location! 🇮🇹 . Yes, she flew from Rome specifically just for this concert and reached this place by bus. Incredible stubbornness! To Radviliškis! . It turns out that’s not all! At the concert, we found out that another couple had also come from Italy to see us!🇮🇹 . And also - two guys came here from Warsaw, the capital of Poland! 🇵🇱 . We share love with our fans and maybe that brings us all together and allows us to have a stronger and deeper connection. Thank you all! Love is all we got❤️ . Here are the images of what happens after each of our concerts - lots of love, smiles, sometimes tears and hugs. . #theroop #roop #radviliskis #karmafest #lithuania #italy #poland
