The countdown to the 2024 @herodolomites has begun! Only 30 days to go until the 14th edition of the BMW HERO Südtirol Dolomites in @dolomitesvalgardena! The off-road universe will converge on Selva di Val Gardena in a month, with cyclists from all over the world hopping onto their MTB to become a HERO! I’m happy to confirm that I will take part in the HERO Dolomites. I hear it’s one of the toughest mountain bike marathons in the world but I look forward to the challenge! #HERO #HERODolomites #HEROSeries #PeterSagan #specialized #specializedfactoryracing #mountainbike #UCI #marathon #bike #mtb #race #dolomitesvalgardena #dolomites

Completed the fifth and final stage of @tourdehongrie_official ! It felt nice to race with @pierrebaguette_cycling and its talented squad of young Czech and Slovak riders. I'm sure this first race together provided an important learning curve for them. Many thanks to the passionate Hungarian fans and public, and to race organizers for setting up such a successful event. Last, but certainly not least, thanks to @iamspecialized, @sportful and @ride100percent for their continuous support. Cycling is a team sport. It's not just the riders on the road but also a lot of people working hard behind the scenes. Without their effort and dedication we wouldn't be able to race. Thanks Gonchi for being by my side and keeping my wheels turning smoothly all these years, on the road and the MTB trails. Beautiful shot by @finnbarstockley @iamspecialized @sportful @ride100percent

This is why cycling is such a great sport! 🚴 On the final climb of the @tourdehongrie_official stage 3, a spectator ran by my side and asked me to sign his copy of my book "My World". Of course, I couldn't say no!!! 😁 Thanks @lipobence and @velo.60 for being such great fans of me and @pierrebaguette_cycling and thanks @szabcii for this cool video 📽️ @iamspecialized @sportful @@ride100percent

What a stage today at the @tourdehongrie_official! Congratulations to the entire @pierrebaguette_cycling team and to @martinvoltr01 for taking the leader's yellow jersey, the first ever the team takes in a PRO race! Happy as well for my good friend @markcavendish, for his strong sprint and stage victory! Photos @_marek_benes_ & @finnbarstockley

Back to road racing after a while and I think I couldn't have asked for a better return. First stage of the @tourdehongrie_official , together with my new team @pierrebaguette_cycling and my new teammates, a bunch of talented Czech and Slovak riders. Thanks to their great teamwork in this flat and fast stage we are now leading the team rankings. Congratulations to @martinvoltr01 for his strong effort in the breakaway all day and in his second place overall. I wish speedy recovery to all riders that were involved in the unfortunate crash in the final sprint. @iamspecialized @sportful @ride100percent Photos Zoltán Tuba & Zoltán Vanik & Rudolf Karancsi-Albert & Mario Pertorini / Tour de Hongrie

Team presentation at the @tourdehongrie_official 🇭🇺 Thanks to Hajdúszoboszló and all of Hungary for the warm welcome! So nice to be in my new @pierrebaguette_cycling colors, alongside a squad of young and promising Czech and Slovak riders, and of course my brother @jurajsagan in his role of sports director. I will have to get used to receiving orders from him 😀 I look forward to five exciting road stages where I will add racing kilometers as I'm working on building my form. @iamspecialized @sportful @ride100percent Photos Zoltán Tuba / Tour de Hongrie

Looking forward to the start of the @tourdehongrie_official with @pierrebaguette_cycling. Returning to a Slovak team feels like coming home, especially since I will reunite with my brother Juraj and our sports director Ján Valach. It also means a lot to me to join a group of young Slovak and Czech riders and take the role of mentor and guide for them. I am eager to help them grow and develop as riders. With some of the stages taking place close to the Slovak border, I'm sure we will see many fellow Slovaks cheering along the roads, adding to the excitement of racing through beautiful Hungary. My primary focus in Hungary will be to accumulate racing kilometers in my legs and work towards improving my condition. In my entire career, I have been a competitive rider, always looking for the best result possible. However, this time, my goals and objectives have shifted. After my two minor heart surgeries, I'm working on getting back to a level that will allow me to be able to fight for a potential qualification for the MTB races in the Paris Olympics. Actually, this decision was made a few months ago, before the start of the season, when we set up my schedule for 2024. It always included a few road races, in parallel with my MTB activities, as a way to optimize my training and racing program. I'd like to give special thanks to @iamspecialized for making this possible. As I have repeatedly stated, we are more than partners, we are close friends. Together with @sportful and @ride100percent, they stand by me, whether I ride a mountain bike or a road bike.

What a blast I had at the @bikefestivalriva! It truly lived up to its name, it's more than a simple race, it is indeed a festival that brings together so many people. I took part in the @iamspecialized Bike Marathon (a bit muddy 😀), but also enjoyed my time with friends, fans, and all the crowds that love bicycles. Thanks to the organizers and to @specializedde and @specialized_factoryracing for putting together such an incredible event and to everyone who came out to join us. It's moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with biking in the first place. 🚴

Despite the rain, energy levels were at their peak! A massive shoutout to everyone who showed their support at the @bikefestivalriva. Your excitement keeps us going through every pedal stroke! @specializedde @iamspecialized @sportful @ride100percent - #BikeFestivalRiva #RocksOnFire #GardaTrentino #iamspecialized #PeterSagan #ShotMotion
