HON. PHELIX ODIWUOR- MP LANGATA

3 Years of Service to the People of Lang’ata 🇰🇪 It’s been 3 years since I was given the honour to serve as the Member of Parliament for Lang’ata. Every single day since then, my mission has been clear — to work with and for the people. From improving our schools and roads, expanding access to water, lighting up our streets, empowering youth and women, to ensuring our communities are safer and more united — we’ve made real progress. Over Ksh 120 million has gone into bursaries to support our learners. We’ve built classrooms, dug boreholes, improved roads, and launched the Lang’ata Empowerment Fund to support small businesses and job creation. We’ve been present — in the wards, in Parliament, and in national conversations that shape our country’s future. There’s still much more to be done, but I remain committed, focused, and grounded in service. Lang’ata is rising — and together, we will finish strong. #TeamJalas #LangataNiSisi #3YearsOfService

As the Member of Parliament for Lang’ata, I was honoured to host His Excellency President William Ruto at CITAM Karen for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya — a momentous occasion held right here in our constituency. The Church and the State, though distinct, have always worked together to uplift the social, moral, and economic wellbeing of our people. In Lang’ata, this partnership continues to be a pillar of strength and transformation in our communities. Faith remains the moral compass of our nation — guiding us toward a society anchored in integrity, unity, and shared purpose. We will continue to walk hand in hand with our religious leaders, drawing on their wisdom and counsel to build a Kenya founded on justice, compassion, and hope. Congratulations to the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya on 50 years of faithful service and spiritual leadership.

Good morning! Have a blessed day!

Last night at the Nyayo Stadium Basketball Arena in Lang’ata, we proudly hosted the Kenya Basketball Federation League Finals — a thrilling event that saw Nairobi City Thunders clinch the championship title back-to-back, defeating KPA in an intense final showdown! 🏀🔥 The arena was packed to capacity with thousands of passionate basketball fans and distinguished guests, creating an electric atmosphere that truly celebrated the spirit of the game. I was honored to be joined by my colleagues, Members of Parliament Hon. Peter Orero (MP, Kibra) and Hon. TJ Kajwang’ (MP, Ruaraka), who graced the occasion as our Chief Guest. Congratulations to Nairobi City Thunders for a well-deserved victory and for making the city proud once again! 💪🏽🏆 #KBFLeagueFinals #NairobiCityThunders #BasketballKenya #Champions @nairobicity_thunder

The Parliamentary Committee on Broadcasting and Library Services conducted a visit to Uasin Gishu and Elgeyo Marakwet counties to assess the status of community and county libraries. These libraries play a crucial role in bridging educational gaps, especially in matters of access to books and learning resources.
