More of those Aurora Granulating watercolours, but this time on rough cotton paper. Such a difference to yesterday's results! If you haven’t tried colours that magically separate and settle on your paper, then I suggest giving this 5 colour Gansai Tambi set by @kuretakejapan or @kuretakezig_usa a go! Called the Aurora set, a serendipitous coincidence with the spectacular lightshow in the night sky! How they react depends on the kind of paper you’re using. It’s like a surprise each time you paint. Compare these eggs to the fish I painted in my journal yesterday. Try your local store or Amazon for supplies. . . . . #granulating #kuretake #granulatingwatercolor #kuretakegansaitambi #kuretakewatercolors #granulatingwatercolors #flowarts #wetonwet #wetinwet #fish #artsupplies #artmaterials #gansaitambi #gansaitambiwatercolor #watchmepaint #watercolor #watercolour #watercolors #watercolours #aquarelle #eggpainting #🥚

Granulating watercolours are by far the most fun you can have with a paintbrush! If you haven't tried colours that magically separate and settle on your paper, then I suggest giving this 5 colour Gansai Tambi set by @kuretakejapan or @kuretakezig_usa a go! AND they're named Aurora colours, such a coincidence with the current spectacular lightshow in the night sky! How they react depends on the kind of paper you’re using. It's like a surprise each time you paint. I'll share more videos on different paper. This is was painted in my journal on the thinnest of paper, only 52gsm (with no bleed through) so the wrinkles helped the patterning. I also used Zig pens for the eyes.
