When I think of how many people have been tortured, killed, or arrested for our resistance against dictatorship, I know I can’t leave Uganda.

Shocked and saddened by today’s news about Alexei Navalny. One of the greatest compliments our movement in Uganda has ever received is being compared to Navalny’s brave fight in his home country. Today’s tragic news is yet another reminder of the dangers of standing up to brutal and powerful regimes. All we can do is continue fighting not just for the people of Uganda, but for all of those repressed by regimes that don’t believe in the Power of the People. #restinpeace #fighton #peoplepowerourpower

Dear Barbie, I love you! Happy Valentine’s Day.

I am so humbled by the overflow of love and kind wishes on my birthday today. Thank you very much, good people. Looking back at my life so far, I am grateful for all the good, the bad, the happy, and the sad times. For me, all this means one thing, GROWTH! For all the mistakes and failures, that's my fault. For all the victories and good decisions, it has always been God and the good advice from my friends and colleagues. Although my birth certificate says 42, my body feels like I am 24, and my mind feels as if I am 65. I pray for life, protection, favour, and humility. I pray for courage to continue standing up for what is right. My birthday wish is to see a free Uganda in my lifetime! "God grant me the courage to change the things I can, the serenity to accept the things I can not change and the wisdom to know the difference!" Happy birthday to me

Psalms 91:5-12 If you trust in God...”You will not fear the terror of night, or the arrow that flies by day, or the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, or the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” Happy Sunday, folks. @bujubanton

Comrade Muwanga Owen, the LC3 Councillor of Nabaziza-Kyengera who was abducted around Lubigi on Friday last week, remains missing for the 8th day running. He was abducted last Friday by armed men travelling in motor vehicle Reg. No. UAL 119V as he returned from attending the public screening of our documentary ‘Bobi Wine: The People’s President’. Efforts to find him are yet to yield fruit, as all security facilities our lawyers have been to claim not to have him in their custody. We remain committed to tracing for him, and demand that he be produced before Court if he committed any crime! One day, this oppression will end! #BringBackOurPeople #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners
