What a sight to behold. Our historical cotton tree fell down during a storm in the city. It takes a lot to bring down a tree of this nature. What once was is no more! Many Sierra Leoneans have an attachment to this iconic tree and it’s absence has created a rather sad and surreal feeling. Some of our kids will never believe a tree lived for this long. For that reason we shall forever cherish the pics and videos of this once unshakeable beauty. . . . . . . .
