1) Have you always been a foodie? Which area do you like best? Do you treat food as one of the artistic areas to practice your photography skills?
Yes! I’m a food addict. I"ll always make sure my camera had the food first instead of me. And yes, I do treat food as an artistic areas to practice my photography skills but I do it in a very fast motion because I still want to enjoy my food while it still hot. I enjoy all types of cuisine but preferably western because I love cheese.
2) What makes a good food photo? What’s the most important detail for taking a good Instagram photo?
Lighting, lighting is very important to take a good photo. Always get the natural lighting to shoot your food. Besides that, I will always bring props ( mini Lego characters, note book, quirky phone case and etc) with me to make sure my picture to be balance. I would also take multiple shot to get the desire picture but I do it in a fast motion because I would still want to enjoy my food while it’s hot.
3) Finally, share with our readers one of the must-visit eating places in your country/city, and why?
I live in a multiracial country so I would say "you should try all 3 races foods". You will be surprised how the taste tickle on your taste bud. For Malay cuisine, you should try on the Satays, nasi Lemak ( Village park restaurant) and kuihs. For Indian cuisine, you should try banana leaves ( Devi’s corner ) and also mamaks. Lastly to Chinese cuisine, try the fried Keuy teow at the hawker stalls, dim sum in the morning and many more.
