These are traditional Italian pastries, called Zeppole. Usually made during Father’s day, S. Joseph in Italy and sold in every pastry shop. They are bignè filled with custard, topped with a black cherry and a sprinkle of icing sugar. This pictures was taken by me after I made these beauties at home for the first time.
