As an ex-patriated New Yorker in Washington, DC, I love finding new ways to wear my favorite chic color – black. Here, I’m wearing black as an accent color with a feminine but not too feminine, floral crop top and matching midi. Bringing black into a local medium of style which tends to be preppy and colorful, stays true to my roots while also staying true to my surroundings.
