On Sunday, October 6th, our retail shop on Lincoln Avenue officially turns 10 years old. A first of its kind, the shop continues to be integral to what we do. Daily interaction with our customers, long held regulars, samples and growler fills... the shop is at the heart of Half Acre. We'll be celebrating its decade for a while, but we're kicking things off with a classic garage hang. Beers, snacks, music. Stop by if you're able.
Beginning this Friday, Original Reaper stout joins our lineup for the rest of the year. Based on a stout series from last fall, this rendition contains no adjuncts, no lactose ~ a straight forward, classic stout with notes of coffee and mild caramel candy. It's good to have a base stout at hand as the leaves change, Original Reaper will be available in our shop and taprooms and in stores near you. $9.99/4pk, 6% ABV.
We are sorry to report that due to our canning line going down, the Orin variants will not be released on Friday alongside original Orin Bourbon Barrel Aged Strong Ale. We will announce their rescheduled release at a later date. Thanks for understanding.
This week only at Lincoln: BBQ Chicken Burrito // Braised chicken, corn bread, bacon collard greens, house BBQ sauce, fried pickled okra.
This Sunday, we're ending patio season at Balmoral with a collaborative fundraiser. Together with Yakima Chief Ranches, Yakima Chief Hops and Jackson Farms, we brewed Grow Greater IPA, a portion of the proceeds from which benefit @growgreaterenglewood , a social enterprise that works with Englewood residents and developers to create sustainable food economies and green businesses. From 2-4pm Grow Greater will be hosting a pop up farmers market and we'll have live bluegrass in the beer garden.
On Friday, we release 2019 Bourbon BBL Aged Orin. A strong ale base of Bourbon, char, cherry and the deep, deep qualities we all look for in bbl beers. If you froth over Imperial Stout, this begins the descent into Stout season. Aavailable in individual 2pks. Get it Friday, September 27th in our shop on Lincoln or our Balmoral taproom. Orin will be seeing distribution next week.
