Let’s talk about HEALTH. 📖 By definition, health is the state of being free from illness or injury. But is that what health is all about? I define good health as a balance between the physical body and the mental state, they complete each other. It is not only the absence of disease but also the ability to feel good in your own skin. What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when someone says health? I visualize a heart pumping oxygen ❤️ #Beirutfitness

1 month in Lockdown! Yes you read that correctly. Today marks my Quarantine month-iversary 🎂 I’ve been home since March 11 and I can’t believe it’s been a month already! Here I sit reflecting on this past month and the things I’ve learned: 1. PATIENCE, everything takes time and this too shall pass 2. I’m grateful for being home, for being safe, for being able to buy food... 3. I’ve loved the little things but I appreciate them even more now. For example: this morning I went for a walk around the building & I picked out a few flowers. Those tiny flowers instantly added so much joy & happiness into my life. 4. I’ve been working on myself, for myself; this is the perfect time to pursue things that you’ve kept on postponing. For example, I’ve actually decided to revamp my entire website & I can’t wait to show you everything I’m planning. I’ve been reading more about nutrition & I’ve been working on my creative skills. These are only a few of things that I’ve learned; share with me your thoughts in the comments below 💭 #BeirutFitness

In today’s stories I discussed fun facts about TOMATOES 🍅 In the culinary world, tomato is an essential ingredient. It adds flavor & is a base for many recipes. Tomatoes are rich in vitamins A & C, potassium, and calcium. My favorite type of tomato is the cherry tomato 😋 You can find more info about tomatoes & other vegetables in the “veggie facts” highlight. #Beirutfitness
