This week's memories so I can remember. I hope you are enjoying your life and going outside still. We are all so blessed. You'd prob miss the annoying or trivial parts of your life if you didn't have them anymore.

- onion flower - My gardens are my happy place where I could spend all day and not tire, even in blistering hot sun. I could weed (love weeding), pull, plant seeds, harvest, get rid of pests, spray nutrients, etc from 5am to 8pm...but alas..children. Where is your happy place?
Thoughts about sharing photos of your children online, especially without their consent? I am second guessing sharing my kids for so many years, and I know the internet is forever, so I cant take it back. Pic of st johns wort for attention.🌼
It all started from my beloved grandmother remarking that I "actually looked thin" when I was hanging upside down on the monkey bars. I think I was 7. Please..be mindful of thre words you speak to children. I'm sure many of you have similar stories. No, I dont blame my grandmother. • These photos were taken 1 year apart in college. 2006 then 2007. I had bulemia. I remember I would wake up, eat a cup of applesauce, go to the gym and burn 500 calories. My mom didn't even notice. • I was such a sad soul. The color was drained from my face. I thought I looked awful (first picture) in 2006. I remember seeing this 2007 picture from Halloween and being so happy I could show my stomach without sucking it in? Like...is this a goal to aspire to? How sad and I know so many girls feel this way. • Truth is...my body doesn't make a flat stomach. I have to be starving myself and throwing up daily to achieve this. I lost years of my life to trying to fit into size 2 clothes. If i couldn't fit into them...somehow I wasn't worth anything. I don't want pity I am just sharing my story. I have more for the future.
A little FYI about weight (would have posted a pic of myself but I don't have any yet on my new phone) • If you have had any kind of disordered eating in the past or experience it presently, well first of all throw away your scale. There is no need to know your weight...none. At the height of my eating disorder I weighed myself 2 or more times daily. Just crazy. • When you go to the any doctor's appointment, and ESPECIALLY if you are pregnant and getting weighed every visit, tell them at the first visit that you never want them to tell you your weight (unless they need you to know for some issue). In my last pregnancy, I don't know how much weight I gained. It helped my mental state a lot, because uncontrollable weight gain (pregnancy) was triggering old disordered eating mindset of weight meaning so much to me, even though I havent actually had an eating disorder for maybe 10 years...the psychological aspect is the hardest to overcome. • Any other tips like this for people with past disordered eating? Questions? Hope it helps.
When I am older, I won't regret the time I scaled down my business to be with my family - it'll be a treasured memory. Isla did this earlier with her friends....with friends, still thinking of mama. I'm currently the center of her world, and I know it won't be like this forever, so I am savoring it. 🌈
