Never did I see Asian representation, nor a 41 yo (thatโs my age) who didnโt plan this career path! My goal is still the same though, cover or not, itโs to help people enjoy life more! 3 Hip Focused Exercises for strength & mobility ๐ช๐ช๐ช They look weird but FEEL INCREDIBLE! 1๏ธโฃ SQUAT PIVOTS - my go to with as a hip prep for heavier lifts or Iโll load it heavy for my main squat strengthener after Iโve prepped with flow. 2๏ธโฃ SPLIT SQUAT SHIFTS - drive as far forward and back as you can maintain stability. Gets the ankles and knees a mobility challenge as even a slight shift will change your center of gravity and creates new demands for stability. Do slower than Iโm demonstrating when youโve never done it before and do bodyweight version to prep. 3๏ธโฃ PENDULUM SWINGS w/ TRIPLE EXTENSION ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ only attempt once you have the regular pendulum swing down. THIS IS AN ADVANCED DRILL NOT FOR BEGINNERS! Triple extension (hips, knees, ankles fully driving) at the top requires accurate firing and timing of total body tension... and a whole lot of body awareness especially in feet and pelvic stability! You can use a kettlebell or dumbbell for these exercises, I prefer kettlebells for the availability for more fluid flows because of the handling. Goal is control through movement before adding speed. Sloth ๐ฆฅ before cheetah ๐ Only use a weight that you can control through these ranges of motion. This yellow kB by @kettlebellkings is 16 kg / 35 lbs Try these and let me know how it goes!
