The portrait of the silent pale girl -Egon Schiele An effusion of my love, – Yes. I loved everything. The girl came, — I found here face; Her unconsciousness Her worker’s hands, I loved everything about Her. I had to depict her, Because of her stare and her Closeness to me. — Now she is gone, Now I encounter her body. #egonschiele #schiele #art #dailyart #figurative #artphotography #inspiration #tobeamuse

Happy Birthday to our beautiful Muse Miriam @defenestrateu 💕🎉🌸 Inspiration of the day - Egon Schiele and his artwork. I was in love with everything- I wanted to look with love at the angry people so that their eyes would be forced to respond; and I wanted to bring gifts to the envious and tell them that I am worthless, - Egon Schiele. 💜 #egonschiele #tobeamuse #gettymuseumchallenge #tussenkunstenquarantaine #изоизоляция #covidclassics #artathomechallenge #artchallenge #betweenartandquarantine

Ещё одно перевоплощение в образ с картины нидерландского художника Кеса ван Донгена, снятого в рамках нашего #слетмузвнидерландах Прекрасная Иванна @iva_aroundtheworld -Муза нашего сегодняшнего дня 💕 Kees van Dongen was a Dutch-French artist known for his vibrant paintings and prints of almond-eyed women and bourgeois leisure scenes. Some of the painter’s most famous works depict fashionable celebrities, including the French actress Brigitte Bardot. “The essential thing is to elongate the women, especially to make them slim,” he said of his models. “After that, you just need to make their jewelry bigger.” Muse @iva_aroundtheworld Makeup&hair @annikitina_makeup Styling @eclecticesque Jewelry @girlsdreams_boutique Photography & postproduction @lilyacorneli #tobeamuse #gettymuseumchallenge #tussenkunstenquarantaine #изоизоляция #covidclassics #artathomechallenge #artchallenge #betweenartandquarantine #keesvandongen

Giovanni Nanni was an Italian painter and illustrator active in the mid 1915 period of Italian postcard designs. Most noted and loved are his fashion postcards of beautiful Art Deco style women in wonderful hats and exotic fashions. One of his subjects were horses, the noble animals which have made the sacrifices and contribution throughout history. With this image we celebrate the powerful connection, emotional even sometimes spiritual impact the horse has and continues to have in our lives ❤️ Muse @pseftika Co-Muse @caprie_z Photography & postproduction @lilyacorneli Styling @eclecticesque Makeup @annikitina_makeup Что делать, если в иллюстрации итальянского художника Джованни Нанни два коня, а у вас имеется только один? The Corn Poppy (1919) by Dutch artist Kees van Dongen is a stunning piece that exemplifies the Fauve movement. She is a quintessential “flapper”, who would have worn short skirts and bright colors. The artist’s sister, as the painting’s gallery placard says, with her bright red hat, which was popular at the time; her thick eye makeup, bringing focus to the almond shaped eyes, which are dark and mysterious; and a small, pouty, red-lipped mouth makes her an ultimate female figure from the “La Folle Époque” time period, a time of more freedom for women and the independence they took for themselves. As a woman with much independence and freedom of expression, this youthful lady exemplifies what it was to be a woman in that part of the world, at that particular  part of history. Today she wears the same makeup, a stylish hat and a jacket from recent collection. Her name is Anahit @pseftika and she is as beautiful, free and independent as her protagonist Le Coquelicot. ❤️

EGON SCHIELE, SELF-PORTRAIT WITH CHINESE LANTERN PLANT 1912 vs Self-Portrait by @lilyacorneli 🍁swipe left ⬅️ The 1912 Self-Portrait with Chinese Lantern Plant is now one of Egon Schiele’s most famous works, one that shows the artist at the height of his artistic prowess. A balanced composition with nothing left to chance, each line has found its continuation or a corresponding counterpart: hair and body mirror each other, trimmed at the horizontal edges of the image, with these dark sections balanced by the bright red-colored lantern fruits. In a further show of balance, Schiele’s head is turned to the right, with his gaze fixed directly toward the observer. The image’s composition is particularly defined by sharp lines and a virtuoso application of color. In this way, the artist presents himself as both fragile and confident at the same time. The work was conceived as a counterpart to his portrait of Wally Neuzil made at the same time, which explains the distinctively asymmetric composition. #tobeamuse #gettymuseumchallenge #tussenkunstenquarantaine #изоизоляция #covidclassics #artathomechallenge #artchallenge #betweenartandquarantine #egonschiele

❓Does it really matter if the masterpiece you’re looking at is an original, or a copy, if it looks identical? John Myatt argues it doesn’t. Indeed, he says the financial wheelings and dealings of the art world have distorted what counts, and that’s our aesthetic response. John Myatt is a British artist and considered the greatest art forger of the 20th century. He is estimated to have created roughly 200 forgeries of artists such as Renoir, Picasso, and Modigliani. Myatt worked with an associate who sold the fakes to auction houses and dealers in London, Paris, and New York. Scotland Yard arrested him in 1995. “Looking at what I call a ‘genuine fake’ is to give pleasure to the eye, to the intellect, to get that visual stimulus without it being stripped away by someone’s idea of the value of that item,” he says. “But, you know, the fact is that when you’re looking at, say, a real van Gogh, what you’re actually looking at is the money. You’re considering its worth, those millions of pounds. The art gets lost.” Do you agree with his words❓ Inspiration Portrait of Jeanne Hebuterne, John Myatt after Amedeo Modigliani, 1916 Muse @vlada.rakicka Makeup&hair @christinakiselyova Photography & concept @lilyacorneli Styling @eclecticesque #tobeamuse #gettymuseumchallenge #tussenkunstenquarantaine #изоизоляция #covidclassics #artathomechallenge #artchallenge #betweenartandquarantine #artforgery
