“I think everyone can just be a little more educated and not as ignorant. Tiger Woods was my hero growing up, and it didn’t matter what color his skin was, or what his beliefs were.” -@rorymcilroy

How knowing Serena “on a personal level” Inspired Tiger | #TigerTuesday 🐐 “Yeah, Serena is one of my closest friends. Our relationship has evolved into that and it’s been awesome. She’s been an inspiration to not only me but everyone else to watch her go through her, when she was pregnant. Having her child and then come back and then play as well as she has, getting to the finals of US Open, Wimbledon, I means it’s unbelievable what she’s done.” -TW Tiger on Serena’s Dominance: “The way she’s dominated the game for such a long period of time, that just doesn’t happen in that sport. It just it goes to show you how good she is and how talented she is but I’ve got to know her on a personal level and as I said she’s one of my closest friends.” -TW
The Match is officially here 🔥🐐 Playing format: The front nine will employ a best-ball play-system, while the back nine will be played under modified alternate shot rules. Tiger/Peyton V. Phil/Tom Sunday, May 24, at 3 p.m. ET Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida •Watch: TNT, TBS, truTV and HLN
What would Tiger tell his younger self? 🐐 Via @GolfTv’s ‘#AskTiger’ segment, this question was posed by a fan: “If you had one thing you could go back in time and tell your younger self, what would it be?” Tiger responded with “Yeah, not to run so much. Running over 30 miles a week for probably my first five, six years on tour pretty much destroyed my body and my knees." Early on in his career, Tiger would start his day with a 4-mile run, a lift session in the gym, 9 or 18 holes for 2-3 hours and work on his short game. The killer part is that he would end his day with ANOTHER 4-miler w/ basketball or tennis to end the cardio workout session.
Butch Harmon chose the word “prick” to describe Tiger’s G.O.A.T.-Mentality. “Tiger absolutely played with an edge, and you got to have a lot of Prick in you.. he couldn’t tell you how he was going to win it, he just knew he was going to.“ -Harmon on Instagram Live chat with his son, Claude, this past weekend. Thousands of words could have sufficed, yet Harmon chose the word prick. Harmon chose to describe Jack Nicklaus as a “competitive” individual on the course, than a “prick.” This marks the second interview/chat from Claude Harmon III; where Tiger is the subject of conversation. It wasn’t too long ago (during an interview w/ Claude) Brooks exposed the fact he wanted to “point at Tiger” had he made an eagle putt at last years Masters. Rest assured. It’s just a case of “GOAT Problems..” -#TigerWoodsCenter 🐐
