It took me ages to see life in the many of shades of grey. I even remember that someone gave me that advice in my first job as Head of Marketing & PR, to „let go of my constant chase for everything to be either black or white“. Honestly? I thought that person had grown soft, I knew how things had to be! Today I like a little grey - it feels good. I‘m less hard on myself, I am much more self-compassionate than I used to be. Movement should be something that gets you excited, something that makes you happy... If it doesn‘t feel good or you exercise only for the aesthetics, it can quickly become a chore. If the dance app isn’t for you, try something else. If everybody likes yoga, but you don’t, try something else. It really all should be about fun and feeling better. I try to get in as much fresh air as possible in winter by running or hiking, and do build my own #mindfulbody classes at home - a practice I get to teach soon. 🤍 Please don‘t ever workout only for weight loss, find a deeper meaning and it will soon be a routine that makes you happy.
