During our research on the California Coast, we came across a picture of a swing by the ocean. There was very little info of its whereabouts, so eventually we just shrugged off finding it. Then, on the day we were hiking with @missrover and @jdesotoart, we nearly walked RIGHT passed it! Funny how things work out like that, so we naturally stopped to swing for a bit before continuing on our way. ✌🏼

It low-key looks like @bertymandagie is blowing clouds out of his camera lens. 😆☁️ In other news, a new blog post is up today, all about staying clean in the backcountry. If you’ve ever worried about pooping outside, what items to pack, or how stay clean on long trips - we’ve got you covered with 14 essential hygiene tips! (Link in bio ✌🏼)

#ad Financial progress update! This year has been unlike any other we’ve seen before. With our new goal of investing in a stronger foundation for our business and finding creative ways to save money, Credit Karma has been a valuable resource in navigating this journey. We’re happy to say that because of tools provided in @creditkarma’s Relief Roadmap, we were able to find tips and relief resources to help reduce our expenses and move forward in the year with confidence. We’ve worked hard internally, and proud to share new parts of our business, specifically a new website design! We’re so thankful for @CreditKarma, but it’s not over yet! If you’re still searching for ways to save money this season, we want to pass along our experience and knowledge to you, and share how you can be proactive in getting help from Credit Karma to achieve your own financial goals in 2020. We’re all in this together!

Did you know that Idaho has more than 130 natural pools? And did you ALSO know that pools are often found in a sweep of granite rocks called the Idaho Batholith? BATHolith. I don’t think I’ve heard of a more fitting name. ✨♨️

The best part about this job is you. ✨

The Redwoods are great for so many reasons, but we think their sun rays take the gold medal. ✨ 🥇

Photography is about looking for perspectives where you least expect them - you might even find a pot of gold. 😉💩

Hot springs - commercial or natural? There are pros and cons to both! Entering the cooler months, hot springs are a popular option for adventure lovers who want a fun and unique experience. Visiting over a dozen in just Idaho alone (and more to come this season!) we wanted to give you the rundown of things to consider on your next soak. ♨️ Natural - outdoor pools, often located at the edges of creeks or rivers, but not always! You will often find pools dammed or walls formed from nearby stones to make the pools hold more volume. They are great for epic outdoor adventures, but could also host pests like red spider mites. They are often free to use, but require some extra effort to get to. It’s imperative that you follow Leave No Trace principles here! Commercial - commercial hot springs are sourced from natural origins, but are filtered into spaces for a clean and relaxing experience. They often provide extras like dedicated pools of varying temperatures, changing rooms, and sometimes snacks and live music! You can expect to have a clean and comfortable experience, but also be prepared to pay, and share it with other people. Need some location inspiration? Check out our hot springs tab in our website menu, where we share our favorite pools from all over the Pacific Northwest!
