After so many days of continuously throwing tantrums, my account has finally decided to be nice to me. Finally, I am able to post my picture, comment on your posts and reply to your DM’s. But I’m taking it slow. Arrey! I don’t want this situation to repeat. We have such loyal relation with our social media’s that who would dare to break up with it😜 Now tell me something nice about this picture. . #selfportrait #mirrorselfie
I believe one problem most women face in our lives is that, most of the time we are not taken seriously. If we have a vision or a dream, most people find it very difficult to accept it or to accept the fact that, that idea is brilliant and sometimes people think it’s a joke. So if you have a vision or an idea, believe in yourself first. Once you do, you will realize you have all that it takes to turn your dream into reality within yourself and trust me, then there’s no turning back! Show the world who you are!👸🏻
This Eid is not like every year. This year Eid prayers are at our homes and not at mosques. This Eid we are outfits are from our closets, not new ones. This Eid there’s no hand shakes and hugs, but wishes from a distance. This year there’s no family gatherings. This Eid let’s celebrate differently. Let’s connect through our hearts and remember how blessed we have been till now. Let’s remember and pray for the people who are unable to celebrate Eid because of the the illness. Eid Mubarak my beautiful people. . Picture #shotoniphonexsmax edited using @picsart
Put light against light- you have nothing. Put dark against dark- you have nothing. It’s the contrast of light and dark that each give the other one meaning.
If you ask me my favorite product from @pixibeauty without even thinking twice I would say the glow tonic. Not just me, everybody love this one because this one is so amaaaazing!! Now, when you receive your favorite product personalized for you, that feeling is the best right? Can you spot my name on the bottle? If not then swipe left and even then you don’t notice then swipe left once more😉 and to those who don’t know my name, now you do😁 . #pixibeauty #pixibypetra #pixiglowtonic
The rising uncertainty of covid-19 and the changes it has brought to our lives, our routine changes, social isolation, financial pressures along with all the rumors and misinformation all over,it is not wrong if we say that these are taking a heavy toll at our mental health. During this stage, Depression and anxiety may worsen. Here are a few things that came to my mind and I try to do to cop with the stressful situation. Don’t keep your anxiety or worries for yourself, share it with the people you love and trust. If you are depressed, talk about it and if you think it’s getting worse, seek help. Keep yourself busy and make sure to do at least one thing each day that makes you happy. Develop a new hobby. Or learn something new, a new skill. Keep yourself positive.Limit exposure to the news about covid-19. Only look for reliable sources like WHO. Eat healthy and Participate in regular physical activity. Try deep breathing, yoga or meditation. Invest more time in yourself. Take a relaxing bath. Listen to soothing music. get out of your pyjama’s and if you are feeling too fancy, do some makeup and dress up. Limit screen time.Try making new friends. Or call a friend or relative with whom you haven’t talked for a long time. Trust me, it works like magic. Try to spend more time with your family.play small games together. Encourage them to help you with the house chores. My daughter has set-up a small picnic area in one corner of our room and we enjoy small snacks and silly talks there. If you are a spiritual person, then it’s time to use your spirituality to bring you comfort during this difficult times. Get enough sleep. Try to sleep and wake up at your normal times. You don’t have to do a lot or take big actions. Its not about how much you do and how much you don’t. This is just to cope with life’s ongoing challenges and to manage your mental health. Do things you actually have control over and let go of things which are not in your control. Remember, we are in this together and we can overcome this. When you are in quarantine and can’t take any new outdoor pictures and you start checking all the old pictures and finaaaaally you find that perfect picture and you wonder why have I never even thought of posting this. Okay, this is one such picture for me. Last Eid, when my husband decided to go to this desert for no reason and took some pictures like this, which I never even thought of posting. But here we are😍 I will be posting the unedited version of this picture soon in my stories and after that you will probably understand why I might have thought of not posting this picture😁. #ad . . . . . . . .
I miss my outdoor shoots, but I’m loving how content creators are coming up with different ideas for photo shoot at home. I thought of doing a newspaper background initially but ended up making a prop out of them. And I am loving how that prop has added a special beauty to this picture. Don’t you think? Or is it just me?🤔
No, no don’t worry this picture was taken long before the lockdown. Once I accidentally saw this mosque from far, and I had to choose this place for my photo shoot. But this photo shoot wasn’t easy with 3-4 people standing right in front of me and staring at me😬 Anyways hope this picture brings some colors to my feed and yours. The beautiful hijab is from @ghanzahijab and the kaftan @zohaal_couture
