A dose of Vitamin Sea 💙 ▪️ We were told that visiting Miami wouldn't be as great as there were a lot of restrictions in place due to Covid-19. We actually almost postponed it but, we were like the beach is open, the hotel pool is open let's go! ▪️ It was not how I expected Miami, in fact it was 100% better. The curfew for Miami-Dade was 11pm the day we arrived. However, on Friday, we went to Wynwood and they notified us the curfew had just changed to midnight. In addition, restaurants are allowed to be at 100% capacity and everything was quite crowded. Overall, Miami was amazing and totally worth going!

🎂 33 years old today, can I stop getting old and just get wise? ▪️ I started my birthday celebration last weekend in Vegas. I go to Vegas every year for my birthday! Since I celebrate all month, it can be anytime during October. Today, I'm im in Miami and I'm ready to see how they are handling Covid-19. ▪️ Fact about me: I do not like celebrating my birthday with ANYONE unless is family. I hate surprise parties and I would walk out if I ever had one.

Vegas one more time because when is enough truly enough? 😜💖 ▪️ Vegas this weekend was even more crowded than all our previous travels there amid the pandemic. This is our 4th time there since the reopening. While there are still several hotels that are closed, majority have opened. I can't wait until things continue to reopen and people are back working and we get back to "normal" or at least the "new normal" 🤎 ▪️ But, I also can't wait for tables minimums to get back to normal because we lost too much money this weekend and I'm ready to gamble being cheap again 😂 or at least stretch my money to gamble more hours. On another note, this was our last visit before they close the pools and I'm sad I didn't get to go to gamble at the swim up tables. That's literally my favorite thing to do. Now I have to wait until next year 🥺

If only I could go back in time to Peru. If you could go back in time anywhere, where would you go? ▪️ These are trying times for everyone. Everyone is being or has been affected someway, somehow. Perhaps is mentally, physically, travels, telecommuting, losing a job, your business being affected, being away from loved ones, etc. Just remember that life is like a rollercoaster, sometimes we are up and sometimes we are down and right now we are down and we have someone else there with us ♥️ Stay Strong, we will get through this!

Today we were supposed to head to Hawaii and moved the destination to the Caribbean because Hawaii is still not accepting proof of negative COVID-19 results. They continue to push the effective date. We also had to cancel the carribean because we couldn't find a PCR location that guarantees results in 48 hours. All testing sights just tell you 2 to 10 days, seriously? In addition, @viennathefawndoberman fractured her leg. This was going to be our first 10 day vacation since November last year and I was really looking forward to it! ▪️ Now, I don't think we will be able to rescheduled this trip until next year because we don't really have any availability until Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving we already have a trip, but now I'm wondering if the country we are headed to in November will open by then! I'm a planner and these unforseen situations are not for me.

3rd time in Vegas since the re-opening. Why do we go to Vegas so much? 1.) A lot of states are requiring Texas to quarantine 2.) States continue to have tons of restrictions 3.) There aren't that many flight destinations from Austin anymore 4.) Vegas is an affordable trip for us, minus the gambling, and it never let's us down Vegas we will see you in October 🎲

Vegas and it's changes 👇 ▪️ Vegas definitely felt different this time than the 2nd week where casinos reopened. While rules were strict before, now they are even more strict. However, a lot more has reopened. Temperatures are still being taken when you check-in and restaurants are taking them as well. Now, you are required to wear your face coverings AT ALL times, except when drinking, eating and inside the pool. If you are gambling, you must put your face covering right away after sipping on your beverage. The face covering must be on even when walking the pool area or when you are in your sun lounger. In fact, I fell asleep on the lounger with my towel on my face and I moved my head and the towel fell a little from one side of my face. An employee woke me up and told me to put on my face covering, ugh. and I was trying to cover my face. ▪️ Also, my husband and I noticed that there was a different vibe in regards to the people that were visiting Vegas at this time. Perhaps is the fact that is super affordable? Unsure, but this time it did feel quite uncomfortable for us. ▪️ Outfit by @ellieactivewear 💙 Get your monthly subscription box today!!! Beach vibes in Mexico 🏝👇 ▪️ Did you know that the CDC states that you should quarantine for 14 days from the time you returned from your international trip? Because there are SO many gray areas and they aren't clear, some say it's a mandatory requirement and others say it's just a recommendation. However, many business have implemented international travel policies based on CDC and it depends how the company is interpreting the information. So make sure to check your employers policy! ▪️ It is quite silly to me that if CDC returning from international travel is in fact mandatory and not a recommendation, why does it allow essential workers to come to work if they have no symptoms even if there is a confirmed positive case in their household? Yet, someone that has no symptoms returns from an international trip and you have to quarantine? If only CDC was cristal clear! ▪️ Do you think is mandatory or a recommendation?

🇲🇽 Underground Rivers in Xcaret amid Covid-19 👇 ▪️ As mentioned in my previous post, Mexico is taking great precautionary measures and Xcaret exceeded expectations as well. We were told the capacity is 11K but the day we visited, it was only 500 people. Therefore, social distancing was easy. A face mask was required when social distancing couldn't be possible and it was also required in all of their stores and restaurants. ▪️ We were the only ones that were picked up from our resort. Prior to getting in the shuttle they took our temperature, disinfected our shoes, our belongings, gave us hand sanitizer and required us to wear facemasks. Upon arrival at the park, they sanitized our shoes once again. We felt extremely safe and it was a great experience despite all the current events. ▪️ You can check out our experience in the story highlights.

Mexico 🇲🇽 amid Covid-19, what measures were taken?👇 ▪️ Firstly, let me start by saying I felt super safe and everyone is doing great by taking measurements and precautions to protect everyone to the best of their ability. ▪️ The airport in cancun required you to wear a face covering. In addition, as soon as you went through immigration they were taking everyone's temperature. You also got your temperature taken before going through security upon your return flight. Upon arrival, our transportation of course required face masks but they also disinfected all our belongings before getting in the vehicle.

Living my best life in a world where everything is unpredictable and uncertain, fear is inevitable and you can't have your own opinion or do as you please. ▪️ Wearing my @ellieactivewear while exploring Las Vegas strip amid Covid-19 to see what was open and what changes were made. #ellieactivewear #ElliePartner #elliejune #loveellie

Vegas amid the reopening of the pandemic was quite the experience. ▪️ If flying Southwest, they require you to wear facemasks the entire time and their flights are not full. In fact, middle seats are ALL open. Unless you are family, you aren't sitting next to anyone. ▪️ We stayed at the Caesars Palace and they measure your temperature at check in. Also, you aren't allowed to gamble without a facemask on. Don't have one? No worries, they'll provide you with one. All tables require to have an empty seat in between and therefore tables aren't allowed to be full. Play blackjack? Only 3 people allowed. Play craps? Only 6 people allowed. ▪️ In downtown Vegas, there are a few properties that will not allow you to go in until your temperature is measured. ▪️ Overall, gambling was NOT cheap. Their minimums everywhere, including downtown, were a lot higher than usual. Vegas is obviously trying to make some money back. ▪️ Glad I had my @wantedshoesusa on to explore the strip, they are soooo comfy.
