Meat and beer 🥰 these are two of my favourite things! After not being super impressed at Zakkushi...we decided to hit up @themeatupbbq and were surprisingly impressed with the taste and value for money. Most skewers range from $1-3 and beer towers are only $25 (3 L)! Great place to hang with friends 👏
Eating poutine and helping others? It is 💯 possible! From Sept 27 to Oct 5, @poutinewithpurpose will provide a meal for a youth in need if you buy a poutine from one of their participating restaurants. I got a sneak peek of the ones being offered at @colonygranville 😍 Would you get a classic or southern fried chicken poutine?
Thick or thin? 🍜 I was craving soup and he was craving fried rice 😅 we compromised and ended up at @sanborestaurant 😝 I love my thicc wonton noodles and I especially love how it comes with a drink at lunch time for just $9.55!
Abalone salad, lamb chops, shrimp bisque, fresh oyster po boys and more 🤤 talk about a high tea set worth your money 🥰 highly recommend the new fall menu at @loperapatisserie for $58 per person. I seriously loved every bite. Reservations recommended 24 hours in advance to avoid disappointment! Some foods not pictured.
Finally had a much needed date night with my husband 🥰 both of us were craving skewers and while the ones at Zakkushi are good...They just can't compare to the ones we had in Japan with the distinct charcoal flavour. However the p-toro don was super tasty and flavorful. Highly recommend!
It's been a busy few weeks between work and personal life 😅 hence a lack of posts...this is from my recent trip to Seattle and my first time at @seattlefishguys 😍 poke in Vancouver just does not compare...super fresh and the portions are HUGE!
$1 bubble tea?! I sometimes perruse @van.dealuse for deals around town and saw a limited time offer for $1 bubble tea at the newly opened @houcailei520 in Richmond (next to Snowy Village). Unfortunately the website is entirely Chinese so it's hard to navigate (I made my husband do it). I tried their Brown Sugar Grass Jelly Milk Tea, one of their signature drinks. The tea flavour could be stronger but it was not bad...reminded me of a roasted milk tea because it was so creamy. I look forward to trying their other drinks!
Had to grab some @shakeshack on the way back from Seattle after wedding dress shopping with a friend 🥰😍 so happy we didn't have to wait!
