TIKTOK 2, ME 0 🛹 ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Between the ages of 9-13 I spent all my time at the rollerskating rink... ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ I'd eat nachos, play air hockey, and wait patiently for a "couple skate only" so I could hold hands with a cute boy from my class & shuffle in circles to slow songs by Debbie Gibson or Janet Jackson... ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Cut to 10 billion years later (give or take) and this 👵🏼 has decided to purchase a brand new pair of @moonlightroller -- and I'm 99% certain this trend on TikTok had something to do with it. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Of course, I'm not the only one saying "it will be great exercise", "it'll force me to get outdoors more", "wanna' start a skate crew for elder millennials"...
