Take your body weight X 10. If you weigh 200lbs X 10 then your calories should be about 2,000 per day to lose fat. - - Protein - protein is not only needed to build muscle, but it is the most thermic macronutrient. This means your body uses more energy to digest protein so you are burning more calories at rest. For every 100 calories of protein you eat, your body burns 20-30 calories just digesting it. - - Skip Breakfast - try intermittent fasting. You don’t have to go crazy, just start skipping breakfast and have coffee or tea instead. Try to consume your meals between 12pm - 8pm. After doing this is a few days you will realize how easy it is once your body adjusts. - - Drink Water - drinking water increases your metabolism. It helps your body function better on a cellular level by ridding waste. It also acts as a natural appetite suppressant and decreases water retention. - - Weights - try to weight train 4-5 days per week for about 45 min to 1 hour. If you can’t weight train just get moving.
