Cute, quirky and so much fun, this is a quick little book that is sure to make you laugh. Shaun Bythell is Scotland's grumpiest bookseller and after reading Confessions of a Bookseller, I knew I needed to read this - and it did not disappoint. . #bookstagram #bookblogger #aussiereaders #bookflatlay #bookish #bookblog #litsy #bookrecommendation #bookreview #whatiread #whatimreading #bookphotography #flatlay #bookworm #booklover #bookgram #bibliophile #bgbcommunity #booktography #bookishlove #beatthisalgorithm #sydneyblogger #aussieblogger #ausblogger #readersofinstagram #SILbookshelf #sevenkindsofpeopleyoufindinbookshops #shaunbythell

This yellow squash flower probably won't be fertilised (it's the only one on the plant), but it sure is pretty! 😍 How much will Jesse hate me if I make one stuffed zucchini flower just for myself 😅 . #urbangarden #backyardgarden #veggiegarden #vegetablegarden #vegetables #vegetablegardening #organicgardening #growwhatyoueat #fromseed #grownfromseed #gardenersofinstagram #kitchengarden #seedtotable #homegrown #homegrownveggies #homegrownfood #ediblegarden #growingvegetables #growingfood #gardeningaustralia #gardenersofaustralia #urbanorganicgardener #instagarden #growyourownfood #gardenharvest #instagarden #gardenersofaustralia #yellowsquash #mygardentoday #thehappygardeninglife

Currently Diffusing: Peace & Calming, Orange & Lavender. It smells AMAZING in my office and the rest of our house. Whilst I clean different parts of the house every day, Friday is the day where I make sure everything is clean for the weekend - so I've been filling up all of the diffusers with this combo and the house smells like heaven. @younglivingaunz sign up link is in my profile if you want to nab this starter kit for yourself. I'm kind of obsessed with this gorgeous diffuser (and it's plastic so safe if you have kiddos running around and knocking things over!). These oils all come in the starter kit as well as a heap of others! . #seekthesimplicity #sydneyblogger #thehappynow #bgbcommunity #ausblogger #aussieblogger #aussieblogchicks #homeofficemakeover #homestyling #enjoythelittlethings #SILhomestyle #homedecor #homestyling #theviewfromhere #decorblogger #essentialoils #youngliving #younglivingessentialoils #peaceandcalmingessentialoil

A new year and a new month ✨ I know for so many people, 2020 was a horrible year - but I'm sure it also had it's good moments. This year, I'm focusing on the good. The little things. The breeze that runs through our house. The birds singing in the morning. A cosy couch to smuggle on. Good food to eat. There is always SO much to be thankful for. #hellojanuary

Merry Christmas from us to you 🎄✨ This year has been a strange one and for many, today is a day tinged with sadness. Family are missing around the table, presents are fewer than normal due to job losses, vacations are cancelled and long distance family members are miles away. We hope that despite the strangeness, this Christmas can still bring joy - because at Christmas, we’re celebrating the greatest gift of all - Jesus. This year more than ever, we’re looking towards the promise of an eternity without sickness and death and struggles and so thankful we belong to a God who welcomes all - not just those who fit into the COVID numbers ❤️

🎄 Celebrating the Holidays with Allergies/Intolerances/Special Food Needs 🎄 It’s no secret that most celebrations are centered around food - and Christmas time is usually no different. If, like me, you have special food needs, the holidays can feel a little isolating. You can’t eat that thing everyone is raving about. The traditional feast will make you sick. Your stomach rumbles as a dessert buffet full of options has nothing for you. If you’ve felt anything like that in the past, I have a few big tips to make the holidays more enjoyable. 1️⃣ Bring something for yourself! It could be a dessert, a salad or even just a box of crackers. By bringing something, you know there’s something safe for you to eat - and you don’t have to worry about the host remembering or trying to make something suitable. @orgranfoods gifted me some of their new cracker range, and the Quinoa Wafers would be perfect for an allergy friendly cheese platter. They’re delicious, free from the top 7 allergens, vegan and even the “normal” eaters will enjoy them. #prgifted 2️⃣ Make a plate BEFORE everyone else. This is a big one for coeliacs or those with allergies where cross contamination is an issue.... and something I have previously been terrible with. You might feel rude being the first to get some food, but in this case it’s important. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve let the embarrassment of being pushy make me sit back and wait - only to have the few food options I could eat be contaminated by utensils/bread crumbs etc. Make yourself a plate before the mac and cheese spoon is dipped into the gluten free potato salad or people start spreading their bread rolls with butter. 3️⃣ Remember it’s going to be different. When I was first diagnosed with coeliac disease, every special occasion made me sad because it was different. I just wanted to eat like everyone else and like I used to... but that was no longer an option. Remember that things will be different - but you can create your own special traditions to suit your needs. Have a big pancake breakfast before heading to lunch with the relatives, create an allergy friendly dessert that can be a new annual addition to the
