I look back over the last four years and am so appreciative for all the amazing times , but even more appreciative for all the times I was tested. If I can give you one piece of advice; it’s to never give up on yourself. If you have a vision, stick to it. It’s not going to happen overnight and your success is not going to happen in a straight line. But you’ll have moments of clarity during your journey that just click for you. Like wow if I had of thrown in the towel I never would have created this positive impact. This is what I live for ❤️ You’re never going to feel ready. You’re never really going to feel like you’re worth it all; but you have to ignore that voice and keep going anyways; cause one day it’ll all start to fall into place and your vision will come together and it’ll make complete sense why everything happened the way it did. Bloom for Yourself 🌸 #TransformationTuesday I started competing when I was nicely 18 fresh out of high school, only 4 months into training and sticking to a proper dieting / nutrition protocol. My first show I did bikini, came 7th/16 in open age bikini short (there was no novice/ teen then) and I was REALLY hard on myself for not doing better. So I took a couple months and decided to do another show, I knew I had found my calling and passion and I really just wanted more experience and feedback. So I competed again a couple months later this time in both bikini and figure to figure out which class I liked more. Fell in love with the figure category and took my first off season now that I had some experience under my belt. The first photo and second photo are 1 year apart. The second to third photo , is again 1 year apart. I got chubby, I lifted heavy and I lifted daily 😂 being 19 at the time and watching your body fluctuate and change was NOT easy and I got ALOT of judgements and ppl making comments. I heard everything under the moon like I was taking steroids which is why I was so puffy (which no I was eating like a fat chubby kid which is why I looked like a fat chubby kid 😂) or that I had completely gone off the wall and given up on competing... but I had a game plan and I trusted it. I knew it was gonna take some time. Well after some life circumstances changed for me I found my self starting over again and I decided to make the best of it and that it was time for me to focus on me and time to make a come back. And that I did 😂 this is really where I fell in love with bodybuilding, after taking the time to grow , my metabolism was at an all time high, that as soon as I started cleaning my diet up and adding in moderate cardio and changed my workouts from a little less heavy to more weight + Volume training, the conditioning and shape really started to pop. Seeing the changes everyday in myself reassured confidence in myself knowing that I was on the right track, my plan to grow had worked and that my mindset directly controls my life + body.
