GENDER OF ENGAGERS FOR SARAHEZAYAS
After a month of working in a 6x8 album for Project Life this year I’m feeling so happy I downsized. It’s weird- I feel like I’m actually getting more documented because it’s easier to keep up with- I find myself writing more and even being more crafty with each pocket. It’s been a really fun change. The hardest part is having to make cuts with photos- because let’s be honest, I still want to include every photo I snap of my girl 👶 🤷🏻♀️😂. Thought I’d share my album’s title page because this XL Southport Numbers stamp set from @paperperson.shop is everything! The Southport alpha is still one of my all time favorite alphas, so of course this giant number set was going to go straight to the top of my favorites list. 😍
Happy Monday! Today is release day at @studio_calico .🤗. This color blocking effect was so fun to create using this beautiful ‘Spring’ stamp set designed by @liztamanaha and one of my favorite pages out of the ‘Lucky in Love’ TN. I can’t believe these photos were taken almost 2 years ago... I could have sworn we just took this trip!😬
I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect alpha for this title.❤️ Sharing a little sneak peek of the Lucky in Love documenter kit coming to @studio_calico tomorrow. All the pieces are so good, but that cacti washi might be my favorite. 🌵
Since I took an Instagram break starting in mid-December I totally forgot to share some of my completed December Daily layouts. I think my album is about half done at this point. That doesn’t really bother me, but what does is that I think I forgot to take some photos for stories I wanted to document before I put all the Christmas stuff away🤦🏻♀️. Oh well, it is what it is. I guess I’ll just have to figure out a different way to tell those stories.🤷🏻♀️ Anyone else wrapping up their album, or is it finished and put away? **** Stamp and paper pieces are from @paperperson.shop and inks are from @studio_calico .
Documenting some of the challenges that have come up in the last couple of weeks using the December kit from @paperperson.shop . Sometimes I choose to not share the tough stuff here, but I’ve found it so important to document it for myself. The journaling helps me in the moment, and it also helps when I go back and see the situation in hindsight...realizing how strong or resilient I was even though it may not have felt that way in the moment. ❤️
Happy Tuesday! Today is release day over at @everydayexplorersco ! I’m loving these new stamp sets, which I used to jot down some goals and intentions in my 2021 Project Life album. I’m so happy to be working in a 6x8 album again this year (my 2015 album was also 6x8). So far it’s feeling like a good choice for simplifying this project.
One of the projects that I’m trying to wrap up this week is my 2020 Year in Review notebook. I feel like my documenting for 2020 was a bit all over the place (very fitting for the crazy year), so I wanted to have something simple to sum it all up. Enter this awesome little notebook and kit (The Year That Was kit) from @everydayexplorersco that released in November. Every month gets a highlight photo and a little bit of journaling. I had the least amount of journaling for May, which left plenty of room for stamping and stickers. I’m so grateful for the simple layout of this notebook- it keeps me from overthinking the process which is great for a quick project. P.S. This is a little sneak peek of some of the stamps releasing from @everydayexplorersco tomorrow.😉
Happy new year, friends! I know we’re already well into 2021, but since I took much of the last month off of IG I wanted to say hey 👋 before getting back to my regularly scheduled programming of posting projects. I’ll be back sharing projects soon, but there may be some small changes coming to my little corner of IG this year... not sure yet if it’ll even be noticeable, but I’m embracing my one little word, “LESS,” this year, and that’ll include less social media. After a year like 2020 I’ve been feeling a pull towards disconnecting and spending a little LESS time online, so I’m leaning into that. ❤️ Along with that LESS mentality, I’m also choosing to focus on less projects and kind of going back to basics in a lot of ways. It’s something I’m really excited about, and fingers crossed 🤞 that it will lead to more finished projects this year.🤗
Goodbye, 2020. Let’s go, 2021. Happy New Year’s Eve, friends! Sharing a sneak of tomorrow’s @studio_calico release which is one of my favorites with these pretty glitter stars and star washi (basically give me anything with stars and I’m happy ☺️⭐️).
I always forget how easy it is to get really far behind on this project, but I’m trying to not think about that and just enjoy the process. Here’s a look at Day 4 in my December Daily album documenting a drive through hot cocoa date. I think that coffee mug pocket is probably my favorite part of this layout... even if the heart and colors I chose make it look a little more Valentine’s than Christmas.🤷🏻♀️
Dated and ready to go, but don’t let this photo fool you, it’s been a LOOONG time since I’ve used a single planner for a full year. I usually find myself switching things up every couple of months, switching back and forth between planner, overview calendars, list making, and then that oh so helpful approach of trying to just keep it all in my head... which is great, until it’s not.🤦🏻♀️ So, this year I decided to grab the @everydayexplorersco planner. The smaller size was super appealing, but I also love that there’s still lots of room to plan out the week. Excited to give this one a try! (P.S. if you grabbed this planner, the mini calendar days stamp works great with it.😉). So tell me, have you found planner peace?
I used to think about what it might be like to live somewhere with white Christmases, but this year I’m just so grateful for all the sunshine and 70 degree temps so we can be outside. We may not be making snowmen or snow angels, but we can certainly draw them with our sidewalk chalk.😆 If you live in a place with warm Christmases I highly recommend grabbing this Holidays in the Heat stamp set from @paperperson.shop . It’s so fun and I love all the buildable pieces like Santa and the palm tree.🙌
