October is breast cancer awareness month 👏🏻 so happy to have been able to give this survivor cherry blossoms as bright and beautiful as her personality. As many of you may have heard, this week our family lost our beloved Sikes. If you have ever met him, you understand what a great loss this truly is. We aren’t sad for him necessarily because we know he’s ok now, and that his animating energy is back in the endless invisible grid connecting us all. Instead we are more selfishly sad for ourselves, because now we have to go on without him, knowing that his warmth and his personality were once in a lifetime. I’ve only had the pleasure of knowing him for a few years, but you really only need 10 minutes to understand how special of a soul he really was. Rest easy big guy, I hope your spirit sticks around to watch over your little brother @atheusdicristina for a while ❤️ it still doesn’t feel real, we keep waiting for you to come home. @arlotattoos and I will miss you every day, until we meet again.

Second tattoo back from maternity leave. We did 2 days on this jeweled collar, I’d love to do more of these! This is a tough spot to tattoo, and a tough spot to get tattooed but we did it! Next I hope to do big black feathers down the sides onto the shoulders like a black cape hugging this design. Love it! Done with my brand new hot pink @fkirons flux which I am obsessed with, @tatsoul envy 2 bugpins, and @eternalink gray wash ❤️

I found this photo from back before the corona shut downs, and though I never post process outline photos I decided to post it because having not looked at the outline in a few months I can see it from almost a third party perspective and appreciate it in its raw form. There is always controversy with tiny detail tattoos especially jewelry tattoos like mine, so to ensure that my tattoos won’t disappear and will stand the test of time,I make sure that the entire thing has a solid black base to it and intricate intricate outlines. I will be doing the second session on this chest piece coming up soon, and I look forward so much to elaborating on all of the intricacy and detail knowing it has the solid skeleton under it. Huge Kraken gap filler with a lost message in a bottle! The bottle looks a little bit wonky in the pictures because it goes right over that weird bump on the inside of the elbow… This is the very first piece back from my maternity leave. It was something different for me, I think we tattooed for a total of 12 hours. What a way to kick it off! Thank you to all of my clients for the loyalty after all of these years, and thank you for trusting me with your bodies. The reason I love tattooing so much is because you get to see firsthand how your artwork affects people in a positive way and can add something uplifting to their lives. This tattoo was a reminder of some thing I had missed for so long, and how much I love and respect the art of tattooing.
