Happy Monday! The roaster is hot and we are excited to get the week started. Ethiopia Reko and Guatemala Lucia Pablo are both available now.
A warm cup of coffee and fresh snow. 😊
El Salvador Talnamica is back on the menu alongside El Salvador Natamaya for a rare opportunity to try both side by side. We are proud to have bought more coffee this season from these two farms than ever before. Despite our roasting volumes being lower than predicted due to Covid-related closures and slowdowns, we prioritize led buying from our longest relationships and we were able to buy two large lots for our Creamery blend. These coffees anchor the sweet and rich end of our menu, offering great balance. Photo: weighing in fresh coffee cherry at Talnamica from our 2016 visit.
Keep an eye out for some exciting releases returning fresh for the 2020 season from familiar producers! Ethiopia Reko & Guatemala Lucia Pablo are slated to go online this weekend, adding to an already strong roster that almost entirely features coffees we’ve been buying for multiple seasons. Thank you all for the support! #colorfulcoffees
The brew station at our flagship cafe in Stevens Point, WI @rubycafesp. Our current hours there are 7-1 Sun, Tues, Wed, Thurs and 7-3 Fri & Sat (closed Mondays). We are still serving a full cafe takeout menu with most food options prepared in our own kitchen by our wonderful staff. Of course our coffee menu is also a central focus, with single origin or blend options available by the cup, in bulk (batch cold or hot options) or by the bag to take home and brew. In case you’re new to our page, our cafe is located about 20 minutes west of our HQ and roastery in Nelsonville, WI. ✌️ 📸 @kala.roo

Some true delights on our menu right now! We move through our single origins pretty quickly, so drop us a DM or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re ever looking for a recommendation or have questions about flavor profiles, relationships, producer info, etc. If you’re new to trying our coffee, we often recommend folks start with Creamery (medium roast, responsibly sourced washed Latin American coffees). Our roasting approach generally occupies the medium to medium-light zone, which is a nice sweet spot where we find a lot of flavor harmony and balance. Acids complement sugars to help yield a tasty, complex cup. ✌️
Today in Nelsonville.
We are very excited to have Rigoberto Rodriguez’s coffee back in house and on the menu! In the cup his coffee is bursting with dried fruit notes and cola flavors. In Honduras, our partner Catracha Coffee does a fantastic job working with producers to improve quality and promote sustainable agriculture and also has a much broader, significant impact in the community. They are improving the quality of life throughout the community with financial gains and profit sharing along with creative programs, business mentorship, education, gardening and reforestation projects and more. We are proud to support these endeavors and align ourselves with folks making a serious impact where it is needed most. You can buy Rigoberto’s coffee online now. ❤️ Subscribers! This is both 1/2 of our roaster’s choice this month and our featured bright & lively release. Fantastic photo inside Rigoberto’s improved coffee drying space from @nahunrodriguez.hn @catrachacoffee 👏
Hope you all had a nice weekend. Grateful for these outdoor spaces. 💙
Ready for the weekend.
Today. Looking forward to October and some exciting new releases that are returning to the menu. 💚
