Keep your balance, no matter the circumstances 🏄🏻♂️ #Repost @_coachzee_ • • • • • • Dubai, United Arab Emirates Life’s all about balance. . No matter what your circumstances are, nothing is really worth losing sleep over! Life isn’t about worrying.. it’s for living. Once you have mastered that working to live is more important than living to work, you’ll see that your opportunities to have a great life increase!
Right now is a great time to reflect on life and make some adjustments, before we get going on full speed again 🏎 #Repost @lea_rebeldxb • • • • • • Dubai, United Arab Emirates Decide what kind of life you really want... And then, say no to everything that isn’t that. ✨
Some CRUCIAL quarantine tips from our trainer Jakub 👨🏻⚕️ #Repost @still2phat • • • • • • Emirate of Dubai Don’t let COVID-19 turn into GOTFAT-20. . Here are some tips for how NOT to get fat: . ✅Realize that your daily home workout routine is merely a replacement for all the energy expenditure you are missing out on due to the lack of regular daily movement. Don’t fall into the trap of rewarding yourself for a few sets of high knees and burpees with a box of cookies🍪 That’s like buying a new smartphone for 1000$ because you got a 300$ bonus. . ✅Identify highly palatable food that causes you to binge eat and simply DON’T keep it at home. If you create a barrier (e.g. getting a permit for a supermarket trip) between your mouth and the cookies, you are much less likely to eat them. . ✅With plenty of time on your hands, plan your daily nutrition by creating a simple meal plan. This will make grocery shopping and food preparation easier and greatly reduce the chance of making inferior choices. . ✅Cannot cook? Get on a meal plan. I personally get my meals delivered 6 times per week by @fitnessfeedz as the hustle (and risk) of getting fresh ingredients several times per week, washing, copping cooking simply isn’t worth it. If there’s nutritious food waiting for you in the fridge, you are less likely to order some crap. . ✅Throughout the day apply the “If I haven’t planned to eat it, I won’t” rule. Spontaneous eating is your Nr.1 enemy with snacking being in close 2nd. Nibbling left and right never satisfies you like a proper meal would, but the calories add up. . ✅Change your mind set from “I want to have that but I cannot because I am on a diet” to “I can have that, but I don’t want because I have goals.” Often a few seconds of pleasure in your month simply isn’t worth the long term negative impact on your health and body composition. . ✅Start looking at your physical activity and food intake as your salary and expenses. Educate yourself on caloric density and macronutrient sources, set your daily budget, earn your calories by properly training and spend them wisely. .
Have you set your Quarantine Goals? 😉 #Repost @sully_dxb • • • • • • Dubai, United Arab Emirates Quarantin’ability 📸 . . Trying to restrict the amount of trips I take to the fridge and cupboards daily 😅 . . It’s very easy to fall in the trap of boredom eating, feeling sorry for yourself snacking, or just pure over eating compared to your activity levels. Make sure to have some sort of quarantine accountability 💯 wether that’s sticking to your nutrition plan, still aiming to hit your step goals for the day, sending your weekly check ins to your coaches etc, or in extreme cases, padlocking the fridge and cupboard doors shut and throwing away the key 🔐 . . I’ve put myself in a small deficit, taken my ‘check in pics’ for myself, set 30 mins on the bike and 5000 steps a day as my minimum target before I count my daily workouts 💪🏼 Have you set any daily goals?
Fitness journey is a marathon, not a sprint - take your time, enjoy the process and you will get there 🧗🏻♀️ #Repost @evgeniia_kaplina • • • • • • Marina Walk, Dubai Marina Your body takes time. ⏰ . Your body is a culmination and result of many years of habits, if you are wanting to change it, remember it has taken a long time to get you where you are, it’s not going to be a quick process to change it! If you’re looking for a quick-fix, then you’re looking for something impossible because it will not ‘fix’ anything. Your daily habits shape your body... want to be strong? Lift weights! Want to lose weight? Calorie deficit and more active lifestyle! Want to feel happier and healthier? Only you are in control of that! So take control and start your own transformation journey now. No fads or quick fixes, go at your own pace. Small progress consistently over a long period of time will see you getting sustainable and impressive results. So no more excuses, okay? ✋🏼👱🏻♀️
How are YOU staying productive at home? 😉 #Repost @lea_rebeldxb • • • • • • Dubai, United Arab Emirates I still dress up every day as if I’m about to go train my clients face to face. It’s just that people might start mutating into zombies🧟♀️🧟♂️, so I better have my running shoes on. 🤷🏼♀️ Just kidding (or not?🤔)! Wearing my gym outfits gives me a bit more of a sense of urgency to stay productive at home, it motivates me to workout (I didn’t get all dressed up for nothing) and it makes me feel normal, more or less. It might be nonsense to you, but it’s definitely one of those little things that work well for me. What’s your secret to staying productive at home? 😊
