There are countless Daytonas across many references known to the market. In relative terms there are much rarer Rolex models. However, finding the most well preserved models is a challenge. That’s what @rareandfine is about finding the greatest watches: This @rolex Cosmograph Daytona, Ref. 6239 comes with the most classical sing-a-song black exotic dial type, a 200 graduated bezel and a strong case with original bracelet. One owner since new the watch stayed with him since he got it for his 18th birthday in Switzerland. Feel free to PM for more details and price.
Amagnetic meets ACUATIC
This Milgauss Ref. 6541 was manufactured in September 1958, as part of only 496 pieces ever made. The Milgauss is probably the last remaining hidden champion of the innovative 1950s phase of Rolex. Together with it’s even rarer predecessor the Ref 6543 which was produced in January 1956, both references have been the starting point of a heritage of scientific inspired watchmaking of @rolex lasting until today and hopefully infinitely.
Soon turning 70 ... resisted all crises 😉
The Amagnetic story never ends ... This one is the youngest of the 3 known Patek Philippe Ref 2570-1 in 18K rose gold that bear a big sub second enamel engraved “indelible” - so called Type 3A - dial. “3” because it’s the 3rd different type of dial designs we know and “A” for the characteristic “Amagnetic” signature on the dial. All of the known pink gold 2570-1 are powered by a 12-400 movement which is surrounded and protected by a ferromagnetic cover bearing 3 digits of the case number. Watches like this are the essence of what Rare & Fine 😉means for us.
Simple Daytona for tonight 😉
Maybe if not one of the rarest configurations of Day-Date Ref 1802 in 18K white gold. Did I mention the tapisserie dial and the oyster bracelet 😉
