Happy #nationalcomingoutday to those who are already out, to those who are unable to come out, those who are unsure how, and to those who are fearful. I wish we lived in a world where “coming out” didn’t have to be a thing, but unfortunately that is not the case. I know the feeling of being trapped in your own mind, fearful of the opinions of others but most importantly the fear of what you carry within yourself. I lived a large portion of my life prior to coming out in a rather dark place. I remember trying to force my mind into believing the feelings I held inside were fake or not really there. This is a feeling I’d wish upon no one. Mental health is a serious problem, particularly in the LGBTQ+ community. It cannot be ignored, it cannot be overlooked and the stigma behind mental health (particularly in men) needs to be ERASED. For anyone struggling with the idea of coming out, the process, or even journey after, I am here to tell you that things WILL get better. There are periods of darkness in life, but eventually the light will shine through & guide you to a place you deserve to be. Be kind to others, because you truly never know what someone may be going through. Growing up, people were not always kind to me. Looking back, I do not hold grudges against those individuals. Instead, I live my life in the most true, authentic & confident way possible. I’m me, I’m going to continue to be me & I’m going to love myself no matter what! You all should to🏳️🌈

Netflix & chill ?¿ 🥺
I don’t usually post things like this (on this account at least) but I was looking through my camera roll today & decided, “why not” !! I get DM’s almost daily asking what my workout routine is, what my diet is, what supplements I take, etc. So, that’s also partially what prompted this post! The first picture is 2018 & the second picture was about a week ago, 2020. In the first picture I was about 120-123lbs. My workout routine was irregular & inconsistent. I took 0 supplements. Didn’t work out every major muscle group & just overall was not 100% committed to fitness. Now, I’m 155lbs, I workout 6-7 days a week (usually 6 and take a rest day on Sundays), take pre-workout, creatine, a testosterone booster, mass gainer protein & BCAA’s. I stick to a strict lifting schedule & usually don’t miss any days unless I’m traveling or sick. I try to eat as much as possible, even when I feel full. I’ve always had an extremely HIGH metabolism, and my goal is to bulk (to about 165, so 10lbs to go!!!), so this requires A LOT of caloric intake and heavy lifting. In 2018 I honestly hated my body. I felt insecure, too skinny & too small (even though I wasn’t). I was comfortable in my skin but I knew I wanted to grow, so I started taking fitness and lifting more seriously. I’m definitely no expert but I’m happy with the progress I’ve seen so far, especially in the last year. For those who want to see change in their bodies, and even their mindset, this is me telling you that it is possible and you CAN do it. It takes a lot of hard and dedication but it’s very very possible. I use my 1-2 hours of lifting everyday as “me” time and I’ve found it to be extremely beneficial mentally & physically (obviously). So what’s holding you back? Set a goal, make a plan & DO IT! You guys got this! ❤️💪🏽
