I can instantly say colors I’m drawn to are purple/pink and blue, no matter what time of the year it is, what season or anything. It’s like that for the past few years. ✨ Much before I started practicing yoga I was all about photography πŸ“· Every time I edit photos the main thing I have to do is decrease intensity of orange and green and increase intensity of blue and purple πŸ’™πŸ’œ. I just like my photos better that way. I realized it once I started practicing yoga and made this little account. I spent more time editing photos than before because there were a loooot of then, I used to post 1-2 times a day. After a while I opened my closet and realized all my yoga clothes is somehow pinky. Tomorrow's last day of #EaseIntoYoga 😭 I can't believe how many of you joined us and I'm thankful for each one of you πŸ™πŸ’œ I've learned so much from you and seen a lot of new variations which I'll definitely try! For the last day of this challenge we prepared #CorpsePose | #Savasana πŸ’œ One of the easiest, yet complicated poses in yoga. You don't have to be flexible to do it, but you have to be able to turn the world off and relax. 🌌 1⃣ In Savasana it’s essential that the body is placed in a neutral position. 2⃣ Rest the backs of the hands on the floor. Make sure the shoulder blades are resting evenly on the floor. 3⃣ In addition to quieting the physical body in Savasana, it’s also necessary to pacify the sense organs. 4⃣ Stay in this pose for 5 minutes for every 30 minutes of practice. To exit, first roll gently with an exhalation onto one side, preferably the right. Take 2 or 3 breaths. With another exhalation press your hands against the floor and lift your torso, dragging your head slowly after. Tomorrow's already day 5 of #EaseIntoYoga 😱 It's time for #ThreeLeggedDownDog| #EkaPadaAdhoMukhaSvanasana 🌌 1⃣ Begin inΒ Down Dog. 2⃣ Shift weight into your hands and your left foot equally. Then raise your right leg up to the ceiling. Keep your shoulders parallel with the ground and gaze up towards your belly to help you stay balanced. 3⃣ To feel the stretch in your left hamstring, try to keep pressing your left heel down towards the ground. 4⃣ Stay here for five or more breaths, then lower your right leg down and switch sides. + There are a lot of variations to this pose. Hi beautiful yogis! πŸ‘‹ Tomorrow's already day 4 of #EaseIntoYoga and I am very excited and thankful for all of you who joined us. πŸ˜πŸ™ For day 4 we prepared #DancerPose | #Natarajasana πŸ’ 🌌 1⃣ Begin inΒ Mountain Pose (Tadasana). Shift your weight onto your left foot. 2⃣ Bend your right knee and reach for your right foot with your right hand (you can also loop a strap around the top of your right foot, and then hold onto the strap with your right hand). 3⃣ When you feel steady and comfortable, begin to press your right foot away from your body as you lean your torso slightly forward. Do not let your right knee splay open to the side! + If you are comfortable and steady here, you may go into the advanced version but please be gentle to your body. Use whatever you need to help you get deeper, strap, shoes, whatever.. I used my shoes to help me grip and get deeper in my pose. 4⃣ Hold for five breaths. 5⃣ To release, very slowly and gently return to your starting position. Then lower your right foot and come back into Tadasana. Day 3 of #EaseIntoYoga is #TreePose | #Vriksasana 🌌 1⃣ Stand inΒ Tadasana. Shift your weight slightly onto the left foot and bend your right knee. 2⃣ Take your right foot up and place the sole against the inner left thigh, toes pointing toward the floor. 3⃣ Extend your arms above your head. 4⃣ Stay as long as you feel like it. When you're ready, step back to Tadasana with an exhalation and repeat for the same length of time with the other leg. + I felt like doing this version of Tree pose and all you have to do in this one is to place your right knee in half lotus and hold your foot with your hand, but behind your back. That's it! πŸ˜„ If you have knees injuries I wouldn't recommend this pose, be careful with it. 🌌 Yoga, for me, is all about getting in touch with yourself, not about striking a pose. So just breathe, relax and don't think too much about poses. The soles of your feet should touch each other. 3⃣ Grab your feet with your hands and bring the heels as close to the pelvis as possible. 4⃣ Take a deep breath in.
