Back from a couples weeks south, looking for sun, rest and the best tacos on the west coast of #México. Also shot a few rolls of 35mm in what felt like forever, and it oh so good! We were making our way back to Mazatlán from Guadalajara and passed thru the town of #Tequila, surrounded by rolling hills of agave and small roadside shops selling the home brewed version. Looking up out the front windshield I shot this going highway speeds and figured I'd missed the moment as we took it, surprisingly I don't think I could've composed this any better. G'ah I love #film. #filmisnotdead

End of an era. My time with @mdrnbuilt has come to a close. The lessons, skills and memories from this time will not be forgotten. It’s where I learned how to manage a new build, tune my eye to the details and learn to push the stress to the side and enjoy the moments. It’s where I laughed too hard with @asslikeashelf and had @adamfryatt give me hugs when I had a bad day. Where @flatblackangus showed me the secrets behind being the “door doctor” and where the other boys helped me get thru a never ending siding job. I’m glad I reached out that day to see if they needed a big Dutch Smithers carpenter, and I’m sure glad they gave me a shot. I can’t wait to see where we all end up and the things we build in the future. Cheers boys. 📸: @centricphotography

When the time comes to start new, or remove the old - these guys are your best or worst friends. A good excavator operator is worth their weight in gold, they can save you so much time in the process and provide for a more enjoyable and relaxed start. It's also mesmerizing to watch someone maneuver a 20 tonne machine, and finesse the bucket to remove an inch or two or dirt if need be. It's also pretty amazing when you grow up and have a father who shows you those skills, just like the man in this machine. #trades

The construction trade is chalk full of sub trades. Everything from foundation guys, to finishers and everything in between. Some guys will spend their whole career and never place concrete, while others will never install casework. It’s a weird thing because we all fall under this title of Carpenter. But it’s also wonderful as there never seems to be 2 weeks that are the same. The ever changing diversity is what draws a lot of people to the trade, and what usually keeps them around. #trades
