my heart is with you portland. this country has been bleeding and crying for help - for DECADES. the poor, the middle class, the POC, the elderly, the children, and the sick have worked so painfully hard through gruesome calloused hands. all while the government and rich steal - LITERALLY steal from people who suffer to keep their families afloat. this country is only 244 years old. its been only two generations since black people weren't able to tend to funded schools. that's your fucking grandma who was being ridiculed and bullied into poverty. they take hundreds of taxes every month from your paycheck and you barely scrape the benefits. the medical system is overworked, overbooked, and so subpar that people have to wait months in advance for clinical mental health and 2-4 hours in line to pick up one prescription. 5-6 hours in line to be approved for medical. if you're middle class? forget it. tell me why people are barely making ends meet, barely eating, barely getting treatment for their deteriorating health on one scale while the rich hogs and hogs. call me an extreme liberal, i don't care for the political label. that in itself is a completely bogus two party system bullshit and everyone knows it. all i know is that the homeless cant get up. they cant just GET a job. people cant just GET mental or physical health care. people can't just GET OVER racism. i'm tired of being told i'm too passionate, too angry, too much this too much that. change starts with YOU. the moment that the peaceful protests start and the riots fade, the media deviates. are you kidding me? we're going to forget this happened?

It's not that you're logical or rational. Your adept ability to be unaffected is privilege and lack of empathy because you're not affected. It doesn't make you superior or more keen. You are debating pain and history of violence to victims. Debating against suffering doesn't make people blind and thoughtless. It's quite the opposite. In order to find a solution, you need a problem. You have to know what the problem even is. We've lived through these probmens. Your complete lack of questioning and faith in your own theories means you've stopped learning. Creative challenge is what makes you evolve - Einstein sheds light on this very topic. It's the absent of basic understanding and education. You are arguing for the sake of arguing. You are not intellectual; you're sheltered. You keep saying you're fiercely attacking or debating to make this country better, but you spit at the people who need help the most instead of using your knowledge to try and help them. Your attitude shows what your intentions are. Everyone I have had this debate with can talk about this situation like it's an equation on a board, but they turn around and cry about situations when they are deeply affected by lesser forms of violent rejection in their lives. Make the connection. And frankly, no one is above this hypocrisy - not even me. However, you need to be honest with yourself to even begin finding a solution to self-sabatoging behavior. Without shame and with acceptance. We've walked the walk and we know what we need to do while trying not to disrupt the quality of our lives. So try to overcompensate all you want. You've been riding the backs of past activists, and the credible hard work of people who made privilege / humanitarian tools available to you.
