BUTT SERIOUSLY, HOW DID THE BOOTY BECOME SUCH A FITNESS OBSESSION? . I really don’t care 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m just glad it did, because I’ve been obsessed with training, building and sculpting glutes for over 25+ years 🍑🍑. . On a serious side , besides asthetics, the butt and the hip muscles are the drivers of everything you do, whether you are an athlete or not. So, if you have weak glutes, the likelihood of hurting your low back is a a given. Also, The largest source of muscle in the body is in your lower body so when we focus on those muscles first we increase metabolism and crank up the fat burning machine . . That’s why with almost every class I teach , workout I do, or client I train, I always include some type of glute activation as well as pelvic stability work. Especially for women, as we age the pelvic floor muscles weaken so we need to keep them strong along with the glutes because they all work together. . DID YOU KNOW THAT YOUR BODY IS DESIGNED TO FEEL GOOD? . Live foods are medicine for the body which can help prevent and heal disease. On the other hand junk aka dead processed food contributes to the onset of inflammation then disease. . We can’t just keep eating junk and think that we’re going to feel good, it’s just not gonna happen. . I find that when clients and students are tempted and give into junk cravings, it’s when they have either gone too long without eating or it’s because 24 hours earlier they put the junk in their system and it calls their name at the same time the next day. . If you want to stop the cycle of eating junk, you truly have to remove the junk for 72 hours to get it out of your blood stream. First off this will stop the physical craving. The mental obsession may still remain but that is when you need to listen to your self talk a.k.a. intuition/Holy Spirit, dig deep,be strong and fight 💪🏻! . We always recommend a 3 or 10 day gentle detox to reset the system, clean out the gut so the body can absorb nutrients and feel better.
