Energy is real and it is important we seek the balance we need in order to reset, relax, and crush the week. Balance is a word that is being thrown around a lot but it is subjective to one person’s lifestyle. What resonates with you may not resonate with another person when balance is thrown in the mix. Personally my career and job demand me to give the beat and most of me; especially being a mom. But my weekends I spend with the right energy. Ball me for me is self care, being around my friends/family, and doing all the fun things I may not share with you all but that still happen. Define your balance and shut the noise. Let your intuition be the guidance you need to be your best when responsibility knocks on your door. Tomorrow we are back on the grind but I hope this message resonates with you all. Carbs, protein, healthy fats, and micronutrients are basically extremely important. Not only to keep you full and satisfied, but to fuel, to help you repair muscle (if you’re trying to gain lean muscle mass, perform your best, and decrease body fat). Here’s an idea for a post workout meal or just for lunch. Low carb diets are a thing of the past. And think again, who can live without them? Brown rice pasta, with a simple tomato sauce, extra virgin olive oil. Lots of garlic, spices, spinach, and baked salmon.
