Friday night turn up #bringingbackduckface
I’ve successfully been around less people 😂 🐶 ⠀ ⠀ But man my eyes hurt so bad at the end of the day from staring at a computer screen so much. ⠀ ⠀ I wear blue blocking glasses but it’s not helping much. Looking for some advice. ⠀ ⠀ Any other tips for those of you used to the screen life for work? Thanks!
19 years ago I was sitting in German class. ⠀ Frau Milder closed the door, explained what happened and asked us if we needed to call anyone. ⠀ ⠀ I grew up in a suburb in NJ where many parents of friends commuted into NYC daily for work. We lost a neighbor that day. ⠀ ⠀ Many of my friends were lucky. A dad got a flat tire on the way in. My client made it out of the World Trade Center okay but forget her luggage inside from a flight she just took in. One called out sick.... the list goes on. ⠀ ⠀ Be thankful for each day when we aren’t promised tomorrow. Be thankful for those who protect and serve so that we may live freely. #neverforget
This week has been interesting to say the least at school. ⠀ ⠀ I miss smiles and gathering with coworkers for lunch. ⠀ ⠀ Been glued to my computer and praying my blue blocking glasses are helping in some way. ⠀ ⠀ Kind of feels like you’re never taking a break when you eat your meals in front of your screen buttttt it’s all a work in progress and I’m hoping to go back to normal ish soon. ⠀ ⠀ Thanks @cleaneats2day for making life easy this week in this chaos that is hybrid and virtual learning. 🤪😴👩🏻🏫 ⠀ ⠀ #tiredteacher #cleaneats2day
Year 13 teaching in 2020. Let’s hope it’s lucky 13. 😆🤪 #pe #physed
I’ve felt like this for months so bear with me as I figure out how to show up on social media in the midst of the chaos that is this world right now. Navigating hybrid and virtual teaching, grad school and just life. Taking one day at a time right now friends.
Yay for spontaneous trips to hidden gem views like this one with my beautiful friend.
Happy national dog day! ❤️⠀ ⠀ #bestboyintheworld
This is it. 🤷🏻♀️ Also it’s day 150 of gyms closed in case you cared. 🤪🤦🏻♀️
Just me and my friends... 😆
This is the first Sunday in a while I will have no work to wake up to the following Monday. ⠀ ⠀ No school work. No grad work. I get a whole week off before I start another class and then start preparing for the start of the school year. ⠀ ⠀ Now is the time I’m going to start easing myself back in a routine. ⠀ ⠀ Bedtime a little earlier. Wake up a little earlier. Start prepping my food again like @cleaneats2day . Get back on a schedule again. ⠀ ⠀ I know I’m still going to have issues some September when I go back... it’s inevitable but I want to set myself up for a good start since I know this will be the most chaotic teaching year of my whole career. ⠀ ⠀ Ready and going in prepared. Mindset is going to be in check. God help me. ❤️
