⚡️⚡️⚡️ will be back in the homeland of Maria Lassnig next week for couple of months! Let’s meet and do something fun or cool ✨
A lot of times my best moments manifest themself when I least expect them. In between. And when I am not trying to control everything there is that ease and open space for beauty. Thank you @kuksi for being so brave and beautiful and @nelli_nedre and @volshebnaja for being who you are ❤️
The first time I heard about Inhotim from a friend who was organizing a transfer there for her boss, it was a nightmare for both of them as getting there with public transport is not easy! I fell for it right away - art park, hidden in the middle of the Jungle somewhere in Brazil. My dream destination 🤪 I flew to Belo Horizonte from the airport in the center of Rio (highly recommend domestic flights from there, stunning view) and with google translate on my side got a rental car, I still don’t know a single word that was in that contract I signed 😅 scared to death by fast trucks passing by on the highway I had no idea of what was coming, I think I took the wrong road and drove through some villages. At some point I wanted to close my eyes, but remembered I was the one behind the wheel. After 3 hours of sweat and tears I arrived to super high end art park with english speaking stuff and wow! It was all worth it. My kind of heaven. contemporary art neighboring stunning nature and exotic plants 💔
Yayoi Kusama’s room at Inhotim 💔 What an adventure it was getting there but it was all worth it! I will travel anywhere for art, love and good surf. —- Yayoi Kusama was still a child when she experienced her first hallucinations. The Japanese girls mind was then, inhabited by dots, balls and phallic shapes, which led to a compulsive disorder diagnosis. Aged eleven, the girl found a way to deal with her condition in using creativity. Currently, at the age of 84, still seeing the same shapes, she carries on working.

How much I miss galleries and contemporary culture. Concerts. Exhibitions, inspiring architecture. It’s been almost five months since I left home for what I thought would be a short trip. @anitaschmidanita, you were right. You never know with India, how long the trip will be, two weeks or two years. Shot from Rio’s rainy galleries hopping in January 💔
Whoa! What a trip! I left India on a repatriation flight almost two weeks ago and landed near Charleston, SC in the US. This year I mastered my ability to go with the flow, what can I say 🤪 I miss my friends, family and Europe so much, there are no words that can describe it and I apologize for disappearing for so long and not replying to some of your messages in time! I had a huge transition and transformation process, which is still not over, but enough is enough:) Since I am deprived from any social human interaction at the moment it is about time I get back online. Quick update: -⚡️still don’t know when I will be back in Vienna, latest - end of August. ⚡️I am in the US because my Fiance lives here(we met in India, and I am engaged now. Crazy, I know 💥) ⚡️I love the adventure, it is not always easy, but fun and rewarding. What else? My hair has never been longer and I am very happy.
Rishikesh, India, 10th week of a lockdown. We are at the chai shop. The girl I briefly met before the quarantine is walking towards me. We start talking and she introduces me to a woman who recognizes my #hunikuin bracelet and we talk about the tribes on different sides on the border, their culture, rituals, women, etc. India was calling for me in the forrest and now the forrest is calling me back. Missing my tribe time. This is Bimi on the picture. My muse and inspiration. She is incredible. ❤️ @hilaskhouri @retironafloresta
thinking about that sunrise surf session in Morocco with @theyogisurfer. Can hear the seagulls and smell the ocean when I see these photos from last January. grateful ✨
