It’s Friday! Congrats on making it through to the end of another week. How is your Saturday and Sunday #quarantine routine different than the weekdays? I’ve been allowing myself to sleep ... a lot. Oh and last weekend I ate donuts in the bath tub 🤦🏼‍♀️😂. Kindness sometimes looks like cutting yourself a break and doing what makes you feel good.

All feelings welcome here ❤️. As the state of the world seems to change hour by hour, it’s totally understandable if you’re riding some majorly unpredictable highs and lows because ... I am too. I just wanted to let you know that you may be isolated but you’re not alone. That it’s totally ok to feel like a one-person-circus because I really get it. Sometimes, we don’t want to be told by thought leaders to be grateful or to be told things that start with the phrase, “at least ...” because it only makes us feel bad for feeling bad ... or to be told “everything is happening for us,” or that “everything happens for a reason.” Sometimes, you just want it to be ok for it to hurt and that be all. In times like these, it can feel like there is no “at least.” And that’s ok. While we can be hopeful for this to all pass, it’s also true that we can feel sad, lost, depressed, anxious, mad, and many other things. Each of us is grieving something, each of us has a story. Your story equally as valuable as anyone else’s. Do I wish I could take your pain away from you and make you feel better? Absolutely, it hurts me to see others hurting. So all I can say for now is gosh 🤷🏼‍♀️. If we were in person I’d give you a hug, let you cry on my shoulder for as long as you wanted, then probably take you to In-N-Out Burger and make you wear the paper hat as we drove home. For now, if you’d like a virtual hug DM me and I’ll gladly shut my eyes and light beam you one. 💕💕💕💕 Just please remember it’s ok for you to feel whatever it is you are feeling.
