My brother and a group of good friends I work with are leading an awesome fundraiser called “Mustaches for Mentors” with the goal of raising $1M for Big Brothers Big Sisters! I’ve been working on this nasty stache for several weeks now so I felt it was the perfect opportunity to make a donation and help spread the word for this awesome and impactful fundraiser. If you want to make a donation yourself go to one of these guys profiles and hit their link —> @steveinnis @mick_maniac @thejoshspencer @mikekarpenko @joelfreemanfitness #bbbs #mustachesformentors
Standing for my friends, fellow Americans, and fellow humans. All lives don’t matter until BLACK LIVES MATTER. #blackouttuesday ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼
Impromptu camping trips in the backyard. I could get used to these 😏 oh how I love eastern Washington #lifeinthe509
You didn’t hear it from me... but Bend is an INSANELY rad place! Spent the last 5 days skiing, eating, and drinking our way around this magical high desert wonderland and now I kinda don’t want to leave... From some of the tastiest beer and food around, to the endless backcountry, to spring skiing on an epic volcano... Bend, you have my heart... and my hip flexors... I lost those somewhere on our first day in the backcountry 😆 #skiuphill #earnyourturns #chairliftappreciationday
Where to start... These before/after photos mean so much more to me than any other programs I’ve completed before. After 8 months of mental ups and downs on the road to recovery, 6 weeks ago I decided to put my new knee to the TEST by committing to a program that was going to be harder than anything I had done before. Funny thing was that, in hindsight, ALL it took was for me to respect myself enough to set aside 45 mins a day to press play and follow what my trainer told me to do. That’s it 🤯. Modify when necessary, keep your core tight always, and above all, believe that I can do absolutely anything that I commit to - especially when the pain sets in. All I can say at this point is @beachbody THANK YOU for finding and signing @amoila_cesar to create this program and I CAN’T WAIT to start round 2 next week. It’s time to put some more Work in 👊🏼
So many great memories made this past weekend at the Leadership retreat in Arizona! It’s felt amazing being able to stay consistent AF with our workouts throughout this whole weekend. This new program we’re working on together is absolutely kicking our asses and it’s been incredible seeing the external AND internal differences develop over the last 3 weeks. This is one of the most difficult programs I’ve ever done but it’s been awesome challenging my new knee to expand its limits while keeping an intense focus on safety and form. I can’t say enough how appreciative I am of the attention to detail that @amoila_cesar has brought to this program! Swipe left to see just one of the MANY unique and challenging exercises from this morning’s workout #yougottadothework #teambeachbody
I wish words could portray how unbelievably pumped I am for our newest addition to our home... but they just can’t. 14 days until elk season commences in Washington and 23 more days until our Colorado camp. Until then I’ll be smoking every type of vegetable under the sun 👌🏼#traegernation #huntergatherer #sustainabilitymatters
No words... by FAR the best day of my life.
Less than one week left until I get to make this woman my wife! #wehavenoweddinghashtag #andalsonocake #suckit
Hey guys... it’s been a while! After my surgery I stopped going on adventures and couldn’t find anything to post about, so I just stopped. But I feel like that’s a problem, and a big problem at that. Why does Instagram have to feel like a big comparison game where everyone wants to show the highlights of their life but not the down side? Funny how I’m just as guilty with this trap as everyone else even though I’m about to marry a woman who makes a big part of her impact by showing others that we’re not perfect, but through consistent effort and a positive mindset, we CAN get better. So here it is, my life for the last 4 months has been chucked full of boring, mundane workouts with the goal of being able to be stronger than I was before I destroyed my knee. I’ve seen a lot of growth, but I’m nowhere near where I want to be yet. Today’s PT has been CRUSHED and now it’s time to put some more mileage on this new knee.
Definitely not skiing right now, but this post isn’t about skiing anyways. It’s about this amazing woman standing next to me. My partner, my teammate, my perfect compliment. I know from the outside she can seem to have a hard shell at times (kinda have to when you’re a bad ass entrepreneur) but don’t let that fool you. Since my knee blowout surgery last week I haven’t been able to walk - which you never seem to fully appreciate until it’s gone - and Kar has been by my side the entire time. Feeding me (a pretty massive task), driving me to and from the hospital multiple times, staying on top of all of my meds to make sure I wasn’t in too much pain, and helping me do pretty much everything else you struggle accomplishing with a bum leg. So this post isn’t about skiing at all, it’s about someone that I love FAR more (not many things I love more than skiing...) and I couldn’t imagine my life without her by my side. Thank you for being you, and for making me better every day. I couldn’t be more excited for this life with you.
