The offseason me is the one who shows up and works out when the excitement of competition is too far in the future to think about... Offseason is more important than the prep, as thats when improvements are made. Just tried my new protein from @vitallyveganuk I chose chocolate orange first, and its amazing, so smooth to mix and drink, great flavour and not too sweet. It's a mix of pea and hemp protein so perfect for anyone who cant eat soy too! The nutrition has been so thoughtfully worked out with added flax, seagreens, maca, acai and matcha with B12 supplemented too! I literally love the bamboo scoop and plastic free packaging too! Added #veganfortheplanet bonus! I mixed mine with water but you could use plant milk for a thicker shake. Thank you @vitallyveganuk 🥰🥦

Recovery & relaxation.... Something we sometimes forget the importance of... When you are training hard it's important to also be mindful of recovery, so that includes rest days, good nutrition to support muscle recovery, working on joint mobility as well as muscle flexibility, it can also include massage or rehab/prehab work. Today is all about having some downtime and spending time with my partner in crime. The outdoor spa was just heaven... #spabreak #hellabyhall #relax

Flashback Friday Looking forward to improving on this look for next year. The off season is just as important as the prep. Why? The Offseason is the opportunity to work on your weaknesses and really bring something new, prep just peels back then layers to reveal the work you did in the offseason, so if you didnt put in the work beforehand, your prep wont reveal anything new. It's the same for track athletes, if you dont work hard in the winter, you wont race well come comp season. Throwback to lean times! Competing in Pro Athletic Class in USA. I love to compete in divisions where I can do mandatory poses. 💪 Some federation figure class is quarter turns only and I feel I look my best posing. I always advise finding a fed and division you fit rather than trying to force your body to look a certain way. For now I'm focussing on growing and other goals but I'm looking forward to being on stage again! .
