The other day someone said people who make their feed a highlight reel are “flogs”. While I think I’m quite honest in how I show up here, my feed is very much a highlight reel of my life. Does this make me a flog? I don’t think so & here’s why: 1. I value my privacy & like to have parts of my life sacred to myself & my family. 2. By only posting the positives I’m not implying my life is perfect. I don’t owe it to anyone to share the bad with the good. 3. I feel I make more of a contribution to this space by sharing positivity. Posting what I do feels right for me. I’m not entirely sure what the purpose of this post is, maybe just a bit of #youdoyou & to not pass judgment for how people wish to show up on socials 🤷🏼♀️ It’s YOUR platform after all

Through the sh*tshow that was 2020, one positive for me was gaining more clarity with my work. Up till last year I was working as a social media/PR freelancer & doing @shedoes.this on the side. I was never super passionate about the contract work but it paid the bills & was really flexible 🤷🏼♀️ COVID saw me lose all freelance work so I was then forced to pour all my time & energy into She Does This. Through this the business grew & I now have such a clear vision for what the future holds for the brand. It’s all about those silver linings right? 🙌🏼

Had the loveliest time in San Remo/ Phillip Island last week 🌊 Some of my recommendations are 👇🏼 @phillipislandwinery amazing food & the setting is gorgeous @frontroomfashion for some retail therapy. I bought this @oncewas__ top & a few other pieces in there 😍 @wildlifecoastcruises for a family friendly cruise of San Remo/Cape Woolamai. We did the Thundercat last time which is amazing if you want something fast! @animalsofchurchillisland is a beautiful farm, perfect for kids & has amazing views Finally, the Fish & Chips on San Remo beach is the best! We absolutely LOVE this area & will definitely be heading back for another family holiday 💜

Anyone with kids will know the importance of having snacks on hand. Like, ALL THE TIME #amiright ? In one afternoon I’ve made some zucchini slice, banana bread & some fruit salad & used the @foodsaveranz which keeps them airtight so they’re fresher for longer. That’s the next week’s worth of snacks DONE ✔️ Swipe 👉🏼 to see how it works #foodsaveranz #mealprep #wasteless #freshfood #ad #mumlife

These sunglasses were the best $30 I ever spent. I bought them for Christmas thinking I’d be lucky to get 1 photo with them on but Evie bloody loves them! Is it possible for a 1 year old to feel cool? Because looking at these pics I think she’s definitely loving herself sick in them 😂 They are by a brand called @frankieraykidsshades & I bought these from @baby.bunting

Family adventure day to Churchill Island today 💜 If you’re in the Phillip Island area with kids this place is definitely worth visiting! Any other recommendations down this way? 🌊

Perfect afternoon with our happy little beach baby 🌊

We always talk about ditching bad habits coming into the New Year, but what are you taking with you into 2021? For me, I’m definitely going to continue drinking less. I feel better mentally & physically without it so it’s the alcohol removed wine life for me 💁🏼♀️ I’ll be saying bye Felicia to 2020 & ringing in 2021 with @edenvalewines Sparkling Cuvée. Let me know the good habits you’ll be continuing in the new year 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 #partner #cheerstothat #edenvalewines

Our first family day at the Zoo was a success 🦒💜 The end of the day however, wasn’t so insta worthy. We were ‘those people’ exiting with a very upset, overtired toddler 🙈 it’s a rite of passage, right guys? RIGHT?! And before the parent police come for me, Evie refused to wear a hat so only came out of the pram for photo ops 😂

Christmas is over for another year & now we’re in limbo week where we don’t know who we are or what day it is 🤯 I’m itching to start 2021. I can’t wait to achieve all the things I wanted to this year. Watching this one grow is definitely going to be the highlight though 🥰

One thing that disappoints me on socials this time of the year is the emphasis some people/businesses put on food consumption. A gross marketing tactic aiming to make us feel guilty for eating over Christmas so we sign up for a New Year gym membership, eating plan etc. 👎🏽 You shouldn’t feel guilty about what you’ve consumed over the last week, or ever for that matter 🙅🏼♀️ I’ve unfollowed accounts adding to the narrative that indulging in food should equal guilt & I encourage you to do the same!💓

Christmas 2020, it’s been real ✌🏼
