Happy Easter gaaaaiiizzz 💖 It’s toast for Easter dinner in this solo lockdown life but I don’t mind with this tamago sandwich recipe from chef @aileenanastacio - 4 eggs (bring to boil, set aside for 12 minutes then drain and cool) + 1/2 cup kewpie mayo + salt to taste. It’s so simple but yum-o, def going on the lockdown rotation. Just kidding there’s no rotation I’m just gonna eat this for every meal until it’s gone.
Oohhh a zoom post, I feel so hip! 😁 My @thefeastofficial Bible girls and I talked about how we’re coping with different challenges during these uncertain times, what we’re still grateful for and - the weightiest topic of them all - what K-drama we’re watching 😂 (Itaewon Class!)
Whuddup, Catholics 😻 How’s the faith life going? It’s been a little weird for me without Mass and the sacraments, boo ☹️ I’ve been getting by with reading the Bible, keeping in touch with my Feast Bible group and doing what I can online. Be that as it may, there’s no stopping Easter thanks to the good folks at @thefeastofficial. They’re helping us focus on some good news for a change - Christ’s resurrection 💜 You can stream a free Holy Week retreat from the comfort of your own home! Like you have anywhere else to be harhar. Sorry. So yeah, anyway, I’m really looking forward to this and thought maybe you might wanna check it out too. And if you have any Easter puns that don’t include the word “egg-citing”, do share.
I’ve been eating all the empty carbs and just generally feeling blah since the lockdown pero sabi ko today magbabagong buhay na ako pramis. This is my easiest tastiest freshest lockdown meal - silken tofu + bonito flakes + Kikkoman. Ready in no time flat! So yummy and healthy feels 💚 Ok, I gotta go and do a YouTube workout now. TCCIC 😚
My brightened up summer lewk 🌻...and the lewks that didn’t make it. @piandresalon #lakmecolor
I’ve been closely following the news on the corona virus outbreak in Korea with bated breath - I got family over there! While scrolling through news articles, I came across this picture of Shincheonji leader Lee Man Hee bowing down on his knees on the floor. In Korean culture, this is the lowliest position you can take and I was kind of moved to see a 88-year-old man do this not once but twice in Korea where seniority (which basically means whoever is oldest) is paramount and deserves utmost respect. I hear this Christian sect is a cult? Well. There’s a word that’s never been thrown around in Christian circles before 😂 At this point in my faith, I’m so curious why Christians of all denominations proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord but are soooo different. I’ve been trying to put together an ecumenical podcast inspired by the CBCP’s theme for this year (ecumenism, inter-religious dialogue, indigenous peoples) with a panel of 3 - 1 Catholic priest + 1 Protestant pastor + 1 wildcard denomination and I think I found my wildcard! I hear that Shincheonji has churches worldwide. Is it in the Philippines? I’d appreciate any leads, please DM me! Confidentiality guaranteed. As for the virus, I hear our best defense is a strong immune system. So take lots of vitamins (A-Z na yan!) and wash your hands and don’t exchange bodily fluids muna AY ANO DAW. Ok be safe love yew ♥️
Athleisure all day + Mary Grace paper bag = tita level bazillion
Highlight of my day - a crate of goodies from my fave (fave!) salad and smoothie joint @gosalads! So tickled this arrived on a Friday too because #Lent 💚
When I only have 30 minutes to work out pero gusto ko galingan
The CBCP has declared 2020 as the year of ecumenical and interreligious dialogue which I lurve. I’m still pretty new to the faith but I know that division and scattering are not things of God. So we talked about how we can bridge our faiths and understand each other better at the Philippine Conference on New Evangelization. I was compleeeetely out of my league but I’m really happy I got to be part of this 😁
This is my dad crying tears of joy coz I’ve been his daughter for 40 years. #daddyoh
