I wasn’t going to share this until next week, but I decided to share early because @greenstalkgarden is having a HUGE sale and you can combine my code (SUZY10) to get $10 off of their sale price! (That’s under $100!) I’ll for sure be buying another, but I can’t decide… for strawberries or flowers? I tried to share all of the fun details in this video but make sure to watch to the end so you can see how the entire garden is watered simply by putting water into the top part! It’s amazing! You can also swipe over to see what pens I use & how they erase. Anyway, you can shop for yourself at http://bit.ly/Greenstalk and don’t forget to add the code SUZY10 to get $10 off of the already discounted sale price. Disclosure: Not sponsored. Codes used are affiliate codes.

Raise your hand if you thought something like, "Wow, this is harder than it looks!" when you first tried handlettering. 🙋🏻♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last week on YouTube, I shared a video about what to do if you're an absolute beginner learning how to handletter. But one thing that is really important to remember is that we all started as beginners. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's not a realistic expectation for handlettering to be simple the first time. And if you've ever been frustrated by slow progress, just remember that slow progress is still progress! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And we all know what practice makes... 😉 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PROGRESS. 🥳 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Head to my YouTube channel to watch the video for yourself if you're a beginner OR if you're looking to find your own style as a beginner. (ps: there are free worksheets included!)

Do you see what I see?! 👀 Empty spaces! Will you help me shop for my next pen haul?! Swipe to see more of the spaces I’m ready to fill. 🤗 I have spent a majority of the year NOT buying new stationery supplies, but I am to the point where I actually need a few things and I wanted to see what pens YOU want me to review! What am I missing?! Let me know in the comments! 👇🏼 But also, I feel like I can’t post this without adding my forever reminder that practice > fancy pens. If you want to learn how to handletter, you can join my free 7 day handlettering course or grab free printables in the resource library on my website at howtohandletter.com 🥳

Anyone else leave the birthday decorations up for a few extra days? I recently had a birthday, which ended a marathon of birthdays in our house... at least for a few weeks til we have another one. 😊️ Here’s to another year!

Which one is your favorite?! 💗 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I don't think I can choose! I have been hinting for a while that I was working to rebrand our little space on the internet (after almost 4 years of randomness!🥴) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was clearly not making it happen on my own, so I enlisted in some help to make my vision for HTHL come alive and I'm sure it wasn't easy when my specifications were something like, "Colorful, but not too colorful. Basically, I just like a lot of pink." 😆 But I think they did a great job. What do you think? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There is a lot more to see over on the website, so make sure to check it out if you haven't already! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And if you're looking for some branding help, the gals at @foxtrotbranding made this beautiful branding and website happen! Not an ad, just sharing. 😊️

I want to help you. 💛 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have been sharing on @howtohandletter for almost 4 years. Some of you have been around that whole time. (Please say hello if that’s you!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And we’ve grown and changed together. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So as I reevaluate how to help you over the next few months, would you do me a favor and let me know what that might look like? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This space is not 👏🏻 about 👏🏻 me👏🏻. It’s about you! And I want to know what would help you. Is it tutorials? Or have you had enough of those and you’re needing some cheering on through the messy middle/hard stage? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Are you growing your lettering business and floundering with not knowing where to start? You can earn money with this! But there’s a lot of trial and error and you know I’m all about sharing my own struggles, so you can skip ahead to the good stuff! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Or are you a brand new beginner looking for the basics? I’d truly love to hear. Will you comment below & let me know? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thanks so much, friend! I’m cheering for you. 🥳 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This grew in my garden! Creativity comes in many forms & one of the forms that I love is experimenting in the garden. Maybe my hands always need to be busy? Maybe I enjoy seeing a glimpse of the creativity of the Creator in the seasons and the seeds? Maybe I just like to eat broccoli? (Prob not on that last one 🤪) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Either way... watching things grow from a tiny seed you planted in the garden is a gift and if you need me this weekend, there’s a good chance I’ll be outside. 🌱

Just dropping in with your daily reminder that practice makes progress, not perfection. 😉

Do you have a Creative business? If the answer is yes, do you use video for your creative business? If you think a video is intimidating, it doesn’t have to be! This is a video of my dining room table (which also doubles as our homeschool room) set up for a photo shoot... but I’ve also filmed in the laundry room, I’ve filmed with a phone & somehow I’ve never even shown my face to the 16 million+ views that my YouTube channel has had! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I decided to build my business around YouTube, video wasn’t everywhere like it is today. But even so, the time and effort I put into creating videos more than paid off as it grew everything else in my business. And now... I am SO glad that the foundation of all of my content creation is video. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re not using video (yet!), what is holding you back?!

3 things in this photo: I really want to learn how to make stickers, I’m still a big fan of the $37 diy gel polish kit I bought off amazon & I’m loving Madison Vining presets.
