Vote. Because it isn’t supposed to be like this.
The view from my front door is something to be wildly grateful for.
Capturing @maggisimpkins and (swipe to see) the magic she creates is actually as lovely as you’d imagine and then some. So grateful for this beauty as I wrap this set of images. 💍
Throwback to some shots I did of @asaprocky last November for @summit. Few people dive in and get as creative & resourceful as he did. Still grateful I can safely be distant but every now and again I miss the world, life, and capturing some magic moments. (Also my first fall without a Summit flagship in... a lot of years) Slide 2 from some of the favorite smiles on my team @houchinstagram + @shotbykyle
Update: I’m glad everyday I live in the desert and I feel zero regret about leaving LA. (Also, lets be honest it’s not that far away and I go back frequently for work). I’ve been making friends out here and I just feel lucky. I generally work on my computer all day then sneak to my house to work on something when I’m “done” (*work is never done). I love it. You appreciate a home when you learn every inch of it. I’ve learned I’m really actually not a great painter- but I bought actual primer last night after enough times of @diamondremodels laughing at me. He swears paint-with-primer-in-it combos don’t work- and I guess that was like women trying to tell men shampoo-conditioner-body wash all in ones are wack. But I finally listened. Fully Renovating a house is much more satisfying than I could ever have imagined (and I had high hopes going in). It’s expensive, but doable. It takes a lot of paying attention to detail, organizing time, and everything you own somehow now has paint on it. I’m trying to share a lot of what I learn because I hate that this was all a mystery to me, and if I can help you in anyway- just slide into those DM’s baby. or ask below! I’m grateful for everyone working on my house- and to my family and friends who have stepped in. To everyone allowing me the space to confidently make my own choices but also supporting me when they fail. Now wash your hands, wear a mask, and register to vote. Let’s end this pandemic so I can have you all over for a house party baby.
I just. I mean. 💧
Got to shoot the lovely @abbiemakepeace last weekend. So excited to show you all what we’ve been working on // Los Angeles • CA
The systemic issues of patriarchy, and a culture that breeds a power of man over woman excuses behaviors that demeans and disregards, is one of the darkest aspects of humanity. In the sometimes invisible war against gender inequality it felt as if she was our general. An absolute leader. Today feels shattering, and terrifying, and horribly dark. “I ask no favor for my sex. All I ask of our brethren is that they take their feet off our necks.” -Ruth Bader Ginsburg 📷: @tgs
Here is to looking at you 2021. I hope you guys knew I’d keep dropping shots of @jazzmynejay because this shoot was 🔥
