Someone has perfected his Penang Fried Kway Teow 🦐 damn gurl, this whole stay home thing is bringing out the best in some of us!
Day 7: My latent latte art skills are being honed as the days fly by. Tell me I’m skill-less and I’ll let my art do the talking 🤣 but in all seriousness, I miss my coffee from @prodigalcafe but I’ve got so much work to complete! I’ll go tapau from you guys soon ☕️
Let’s not get carried away... ⬅️ swipe to see my future look 😂😂😂 I already got myself a new look before the #circuitbreaker began, if things get worse, I’m prepared to take things into my own hands! #week1VSweek4
A Tokyo throwback to these gorgeous pancakes. They weren’t worth the calories nor the price but I’m shallow that way and I just wanted to bring mom to a fancy tea place to get awesome shots. Looking back now, I’m glad I did stupid things like this. I’ll use this as inspo for my next meal.
Day 6: Swipe ⬅️ this has been pretty damn satisfying 🌱 I drink celery juice everyday so I thought maybe I could just grow my own, save me a trip to the grocery store! I think I probably need more space to grow this with the amount of juice I drink. @weerriam better start now!
Day 5: And.... Me and my face are officially pear-shaped, Korean pears to be exact! 🤣🤣🤣
Day 4: We discover how flexible this dog is. Half Easter bunny and half Easter egg 🐰🥚 How in the world does this dog curl up into a perfect J?
Day 3: You Mian (skinny noodles) for lunch because I don’t like fat Ban Mian. This is absolute comfort food for me and when I get to make it with whatever is in the fridge/freezer/pantry it tastes even better 🤣 Stock base = konbu/ikan bilis/dried oysters and topped w chives, wolf berries, moyashi, seaweed 🍲 I hope you guys aren’t losing your sheets yet. I’ll only lose it if I can’t go out and get Kueh 🧟♀️
Day 2: Oppa is so damn serious when he works from home, he has a routine while I take my time to have celery juice, then my herbal coffee, play with the doggo, read the news and then down my ginseng supplements and the list goes on and on before I’m ready for work. Obviously you should hire him and not me but hey, I get stuff done too and today I’m packing and doing QC for pieces that are ready! I will Lysol the parcel before I send it 😅 #decontamination to keep us all safe. #wfh has always been my gig, it’s really not so bad!
Day 1: 🥧 Curry Beef Pie or CB Pie 🤣 for dinner tonight! I don’t even know where I got this idea from but damn! Made two types of pastry and I experimented with frozen roti prata pastry from @fairpricesg in this shot. It was so gooooooooooood! The spices for the curry was rustled up by my neighbour’s helper (she makes the best biriyani!) so I don’t know what’s in it. Next plan is to make a beef rendang pie!
This maybe the least of our concerns now but Mother Earth has always been there for us, let us not neglect our environment in the name of convenience 🌍🖖🏻 Just a little PSA for those thinking of going out to get takeout food, you can still make a difference!
