My top tips for running/jogging while pregnant๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿป๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ Just a few ways to stay extra comfortable + safe while staying on your running game (if you choose to) during pregnancy: 1๏ธโƒฃ A strong supportive sports bra goes a long way for those new bigger boobs! 2๏ธโƒฃ Make sure your running shoes are in good condition (6 months old or less). FYI we should ALL be changing up our running sneakers every 6 months-1 yr maximum! 3๏ธโƒฃ Change your goals + expectations. You will most likely not be able to run a marathon right now. The goal is to feel good + get those endorphins flowing not to beat your fastest speeds. 4๏ธโƒฃ Maintain neutral posture while running. This will really help your back + body aches throughout your pregnancy in all workouts you do (& life!) 5๏ธโƒฃ If you feel any pelvic floor or abdominal discomfort stop immediately. You are not trying to run through pain! Listen to your body. 6๏ธโƒฃ Hydrate, hydrate, HYDRATE! Before + after your run is a must. 7๏ธโƒฃ Be aware of restrooms along your route (if there are any). I always have to pee literally as soon as I leave the house so I usually do a lap around, pee, and then head out on the real run ๐Ÿ˜‚ 8๏ธโƒฃ HAVE FUN + ENJOY IT. If itโ€™s not fun for you then please do not do it! Running for me during pregnancy makes me feel amazing just knowing that my bub is safe in my belly while I kickass and do what I love! So empowering. **Before you attempt a run please make sure you have been CLEARED by your doctor for exercise!! As well as running my other favorite prenatal workouts are barre, pilates, dance (specifically Zumba), boxing & lifting! We took David to the pumpkin patch today but when we got there the lines were insane & it was just so crowded we decided we werenโ€™t comfortable going in. Luckily he is too young to understand where we were going or why we couldnโ€™t go. We ended up at a beautiful park instead and it was honestly still a perfect day. At first I was sad that I wasnโ€™t able to give him that experience of a pumpkin patch (& a cute baby photo) but then I realized, who cares? We had a great Sunday as a family, he was happy & we were happy and isnโ€™t that all that really matters? Sometimes a little change of plans is just want you need to remind you about whatโ€™s important at the end of the day โค๏ธ #motherhood #family #HealthyAlibi

STRESS!!! ๐Ÿ˜ณ Did you know that stress manifests in the body? While a little stress can be healthy (yep itโ€™s true!) chronic stress is not & can affect your nervous, cardiovascular & respiratory systems, to name a few. This weekend letโ€™s dedicate our time and energy to slowing down and de-stressing. Iโ€™m sharing 5 things you can do when youโ€™re feeling stressed, anxious or overwhelmed: ๐ŸŒป Get outside & go for a walk. Seriously even 10 minutes of a brisk walk can help clear your mind. Oh & I dare you to leave your phone at home! ๐ŸŒป Exercise. This is the one that helps me the most. If Iโ€™m ever feeling anxious, which I def do, I workout & get my endorphins pumping & blood flowing. ๐ŸŒป Meditate. This one took me a while & isnโ€™t always easy for me but once I start I notice a weight lifting off my shoulders almost immediately. Meditation isnโ€™t always sitting with your legs crossed, itโ€™s about connecting with your breath & getting out of your head. ๐ŸŒป Do something you love- whether itโ€™s cooking, reading or maybe an art project. Anything that truly makes you happy. ๐ŸŒป Put down your phone for a few hours & disconnect. Sometimes disconnecting is the only healthy way to actually reconnect, if that makes sense? I find disconnecting helps me to actually listen to my body + mind so learn to put down your phone on a regular basis & be present in whatever it is youโ€™re doing. Typical breakfast in the Q for me + D! ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿž I always try to sneak some extra nutrients in our eggs for an extra boost. We end up sharing most of our meals these days just because I always want what heโ€™s having and he always wants what Iโ€™m having ๐Ÿ˜† so I stopped making them separate and started sharing. When it comes to cooking for your little I recommend approaching it as relaxed and as least stressful as possible! Making for them what you would normally cook for yourself & your family and eating together if you are able for me is the best way to start the day. P.S in this pregnancy I have a newfound obsession with a simple butter & toast ๐Ÿ˜ It is soo underrated! How are my mamas out there doing with feeding your littles? Would love to hear! Iโ€™m no beauty expert but I thought it would be helpful to list some ingredients that are safe and unsafe to lookout for. They also let me bring my products in to see what I could and could not use and when I had a skin reaction I worked with the ladies there to figure out which products were causing it.
